This was our second cruise (first with Princess) and our first cruise with our children (boys ages 10 and 14). We started off with a Disney blitz on Friday, covering our favorite attractions at Disney's Animal Kingdom, Epcot and MGM Studios.

Arrival into the port and embarkation was uneventful, though exciting for the kids. They had never even seen a cruise ship, so our first views of the Princess were very exciting. Our inside cabin, D520, was adequate though a bit tight and very difficult to keep organized. The lower beds didn't come together to form a queen, but we managed and probably slept better. The uppers were bunks and were fine for the kids. Mark, our cabin steward did a fantastic job.

We chose anytime dining and really loved it. We never waited to be seated, though ate dinner at various times ranging from 6ish to 8ish, and requested to be seated with the same wait staff each night (except Monday when we ate at Sterling and Thursday when we dined at the Cafe Caribe), Alex and Darwin (table 8). This gave us the experience of traditional dining (i.e. waiters getting to know you and what you like) without being locked into a set time and being able to sit together as a family each night and worked out beautifully.
