We have not cruised before and went with friends who have. We had nothing to compare to but heard constant comparisons from them. While we did have some complaints, my family had probably our best vacation to date and we came back very tanned and relaxed.

Never having gone thru embarkation and disembarkation before we have nothing to compare it to. Seemed to take a long time (hour or so) and seemed pretty disorganized. Our friends said it was actually better than most. Boat was very hot initially but cooled down once we got underway. Rooms were tiny but nice.

Kids program for our 6 year old triplets (yes, that is true) was GREAT! Kids had a great time, lots of activity and they were never bored. Best part was they had babysitting every night until 1 am. Was worth the cost ($5 per hour per child) to have adult time! My only complaint is that they were not open on the first day like the other age groups which would have allowed us to explore the ship. Teenage daughter did not seem to enjoy the teen room and spent most of her time at the pool or in the cabin.
