Sail Date: Dec 2012
Cabin: Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

For our anniversary, we did the RC Independence of the seas eight day cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale to St. Kitts, St Maarten, and San Juan & Labadee December 8 2012.

The old terminal took two and one half hours to get through with long lines, no air conditioning, no one guiding passengers to the proper lanes and a check in staff that didn't have a clue what they were doing or how to work the laptops. The only good thing was it wasn't raining.

The room appeared clean and the service from the hard working steward was very good.

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

The room appeared clean and the service from the hard working steward was good.

Our balcony was on the 8th deck with a nice view, but the plastic strap chairs were very uncomfortable. Smoking from other balconies will drift into your space.
