Sail Date: Dec 2012
Cabin: Standard Stateroom

After a week of personal travel through Germany and Austria, we arrived in Nuremberg for our river cruise. We have traveled with Uniworld six times before and expected this cruise to be the same high quality as those others.

We were not disappointed. From the time we dropped off our luggage until we left at the end of our cruise, we were treated like family. We had sailed before with the Captain and Zoltan, the ship's entertainer, and both remembered us and went out of their way to welcome us.

It is obvious that the crew of the River Queen are proud of their ship. It was spotless at all times, the food and service in the dining room was absolutely outstanding, the bar staff was quick and professional, and everyone worked hard to make the cruise memorable.

Cabin Review

Standard Stateroom

Cabin 1

Cabin 412 is on the top deck of the River Queen. It is laid out the same as all the other staterooms on the ship, with the exception of the suites, which are larger. This room has floor to ceiling windows and excellent light blackening curtains. The bed is extremely comfortable with high quality linens. There is plenty of storage space, good lighting, and sufficient electrical outlets. The bathroom is good sized for a river boat.

There is no noise at all from the engines or the bow thrusters. It is on the same deck as the dining room and if people leaving the dining room are loud, you can hear it.

Overall a great cabin.
