This was our 25th cruise, our second on Celebrity. We loved it - we were part of a group of 12 and the overall concensus was that Celebrity definitely does an above average job of providing a value-added cruise experience. Our Concierge cabin was perfect, the daily fruit bowls and canapes were great, and the flowers in the cabin and bathroom were a wonderful touch. The shower was comfortable, towels were great, and bath amenities above and beyond the usual. The food on the ship was very good - best pizza we have had on a ship, great hot dogs, wonderful pasta choices, large variety of sushi every day, and tasty stirfry. Dining room food was well presented and flavorful, service exceptional! Adequate variety most nights to always find something you liked on the menu. Buffet food was good, usually warm, and had a large variety every day from breakfast to late in the day. The Thermopool area of the ship was a relaxing experience to visit whether you were just relaxing in a chair More or enjoying the pool or hot tubs in the area. Pool Butlers were always friendly and accommodating regardless of what you asked of them.

This ship was the friendliest and cleanest ship we have ever been on (25 cruises) - the ships officer's were always visible around the ship and were very approachable. They were always talking to passengers and soliciting opinions and suggestions - seemed genuinely concerned about passenger satisfaction! Quite the switch from a recent cruise on another "C" cruise line where we never saw an officer during the cruise other than on stage and the crew was less than friendly or accommodating.

Entertainment in the Sunset Bar, Michael's, Cafe Bacio, the Rendevous Lounge, and Constellation was generally very good, however the number of songs was sometimes limited for some entertainers.

We are already booked on another Celebrity cruise - it was a very positive cruise experience, and considering it was 17 nights, we felt that if there were significant things to criticize we would have found them in that number of days! Less

Cabin review: Celebrity Infinity Concierge Class Vista Deck (7) 9146

Quiet cabin, convenient to the upper decks and dining area of the ship, wonderful balcony, more than adequate storage. Would choose again definitely.

Port and Shore Excursions

Went deep sea fishing and caught 7 fish, saw a lot of ocean creatures, and got soaked in the nasty storm but will go back definitely!

City Tour

(4)
Six of us went on a city tour with 5 others from the ship. Van was comfortable but difficult to get in and out of at the locations. Was a walking tour both in old Cartegena and at the mall area. Our only complaint was we weren't allowed to go in any store of our choosing - only those they directed us to both in the Old Town and at the Mall area, and didn't have sufficient time to shop in either. The guide however, had excellent English and was extremely knowledgeable and provided us a lot of information about the history of the area.

Another port stop ruined by the horrible rain storms! We go there yearly however and love the area, the ambiance of the people, and the atmosphere.

Rainforest Tram and River - Very nice tour - knowledgeable guides with excellent English (Elite Tours). Very nice bus and adequate time to enjoy your time at each location. Lunch was tasty and more than adequate.

Loved having time in SF to explore the city! The overnight stay allowed you to come back late and leave the ship early to visit the city - wish we left later or arrived earlier tho to allow for Wine country tours. The times didn't allow for that on either day.
