What a way to travel round the Med. Our 1st cruise and it took some getting used to due to the sheer size of the ship. The Breeze is a fantastic ship with everything you could possibly need in one place. OK there are queues for food in the lido marketplace but timing of service is from 12:00 - 15:00 so unless you want to queue go around 14.00 for lunch. the food never runs out and is exceptional at all times. The on board service charges are $138.00 per person per trip which works out very expensive before you have even started but you are allowed to cancel this and tip the staff personnally if you wish so no dramas there.
If you have a problem dont rely on security to sort out. The cabin in between my sister's and her in laws was occupied by teenagers up all night partying and
security didnt check or ensure that the adult who was su[pposed to be in that room was actually sleeping there ( thanks you ididots/ louts from Sheffield) carnival have agreed to credit their holiday by 20% each so their holiday was compensated.
Alcohol is a bit expensive and staff already have tips included (commission based)so don't feel obliged. A balcony cabin is a must. We had an internal cabin and used room service as our alarm clock, Tea and coffee + extras delivered by the friendliest staff imaginable at anytime of day or night (free.
For anyone who suffers with sea sickness no fear of this on this ship you dont even realise you are on the sea.The excursions are expensive but with a bit of homework you can save Hundreds of pounds by going yourself.
I would totally recommend booking on the Carnival Breeze there is something for everyone young and old.
