Sail Date: May 2012

This was mine and my husband's first cruise. In all honesty I did not want to use Carnival but because of our time restrictions this was our only choice.

Embarkation:

We felt like cattle. When we arrived all of the luggage was just being piled up in the parking lot. I'm talking thousands of suitcases. We waited on a line of hundreds of people, entered the facility where we waited on more lines to go through security and get our room keys, etc. After the long lines we were thrown into a crammed room where we waited to board. This was the most chaotic and disorganized event I've ever experienced. Some people had zone cards, some people didn't. The staff was not on the same page and didn't have a clue what was going on. We finally were able to get out of this crammed room to wait on another long line leading to the boat. We weren't able to get into our rooms until 1:30 so we were sent to deck 9 to get lunch where there was yet another long line at the buffet.

Cabin Review

Cabin 8G

Nice size, beautiful balcony view, above a club that plays live music until 1:30 a.m. :( Wouldn't select this location again because of that.
