Wonderful service (especially in the dining room) on a terrific ship! We sometimes encountered long lines at the Windjammer Cafe around lunchtime....everyone seemed to want a fresh salad! There was lots to do on the ship, all the time! Lots of great amenities on the ship. If you can, you've got to check out the quest game shows, quite fun! The evening shows and entertainment were good. With having a promenade room (overlooking the shops) for each event held in the common area, we were able to view these shows/parades from our window seat without any crowds or obstacles in our way. We enjoyed this promenade room! Loved the various pools and the huge big screen which played music videos/movies poolside. Finding lounge chairs by the pool seemed to be an issue, and we only had 2 in our party. This ship had interactive screens to help you see the daily compass as well as see where you were, to help you so you didn't get lost. I liked this feature on the ship. The drinks were pricy and they seemed to be pushing jewelry sales non-stop! Wait until the second or last day for discounts on T-Shirts poolside, this is when the sales are.
We were very disappointed we weren't able to make it to Coco Cay because of the weather, but we thoroughly enjoyed St. Thomas and St. Martin. We'd go back on this ship and destination again.
We did The Captain Nautica's Snorkeling in St Thomas and it was awesome! I recommend you bring lots of film for the shipwrecked island location, lots of great fish and coral reefs. Very laid back cruise, on a fun power boat, perfect for families.
Loterie Tree Farm Zip Lining in St. Martin was definitely the highlight of our trip!! The workout wasn't too strenuous for us (I work out about 3 days a week, husband doesn't and we had no trouble keeping up). We were even given an impromptu tour of the island on our way there and back, which was very informative. They said to not bring any valuables or anything to carry. I would recommend a disposable camera to carry in a zipped pocket if possible, sure wished we'd brought one anyway. All we have are memories and it was a fantastic day! We'd go back again!! Such fun!
We realized we didn't have enough time to do an excursion on each island and include beach time. With these 2 islands having some of the top beaches in the world, this was our only regret. The ship seemed to leave the ports quite early (late afternoon). If we're able to hit these islands again, we'd choose beach time on our next opportunity!
We would choose this ship again, was a wonderful vacation!
