We visited Orlando Disney parks before the cruise. We have always found them to be clean and entertaining, and pricy. The higher cost is worth it to me to enter a park/ship that is clean, family friendly and well maintained, keeps the riff-raff out too.
The entry into Port Canaveral was easy and seamless. We were through security ~ 1pm < 10 mins. The massive room we entered was empty and had a ...
We are a Disney family so we wanted to try our first cruise experience with Disney. As expected we were not disappointed. We have been on many vacations and this is by far the absolute best. Yes it is pricey but it's well worth it and if you give a refundable deposite on your next cruise while on the current one they give you a discount. The staff was fantastic and the planned activities on each ...
Bottom line: Too many people, too many lowlifes, and the rooms/food just aren't worth the money they are charging. Like most other things, it doesn't live up to the hype.
Booked a 4 day cruise on the Dream to celebrate my Daughter's 5th birthday. I reserved a stateroom with a verandah that slept 5. Initial embarkation process was poor. Everyone is squeezed into a cruise terminal that is far ...
As a gift for my 50th birthday my family took me on the Disney cruise. This was my first-ever cruise and I did not know what to expect. The Dream was spotless, the rooms were immaculate and the staff was over the top attentive. The shows and other entertainment was amazing. Every morning there was a navigator paper in her room telling us the daily events times and places. There was an app for your ...
i have been on a few cruises before Disney cruise, but i did not expect the ease that would come with it. Pre-check in gave me a time for me to check in to the port. the line was long but not insane. the most i waited in line was about 30 to 45 mins. then as soon i got on the ship it was nothing but great time and amazing customer service. every one was knowledgeable about everything when it ...
I took my three grand children (ages 6,5 & 2) on the Dream for three days. I Loved the smooth check in process. thought the ship was very clean, loved the private island, I did not get off the ship in Nassau and that was a great time to ride the water slide. I felt there should have been more places to get a drink of water on the ship. Having to go to the 11th deck every time you wanted a drink ...
Everything was superb! My husband and I were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary. Everything was taken care of and it was very relaxing. Barely knew 1000s were on board. At night we were the only adults in the pool. We had Palo Brunch which was an extra charge but it's now become a staple that we will always book! The food was the best we have ever had anywhere. I felt we were taken care of ...
We love, love, LOVED our 4 night Disney Cruise on the Dream.
My husband and I were celebrating our honeymoon. My husband was the one who wanted to add a Disney Cruise to our itinerary, but I was ambivalent...but only for a very short period of time once we embarked.
We felt like royalty the entire time we were on board.
Dining:
The rotational dinning was great and fun. Mostly, the ...
Fabulous all around! We cruised in concierge family staterooms and they opened our veranda so we could all sit together a watch the sea go by! The lounge and private sundeck were top drawer, with a variety of gourmet choices of food and drink all day and into the evening. Castaway Cay was spectacular. We enjoyed this cruise thoroughly and will sail on the Dream again! Unfortunately, the only ...
My family of 5 just finished up a four night cruise on the Disney Dream. Going into the cruise, I was nervous the crowds would be unmanageable because it is in the middle of Summer vacation for most U.S.A. schools. While there were times that it certainly was crowded (elevator areas after a show) most of the time it was not a problem at all. And as other cruisers have said, there is typically ...
