My family (including an eight and six year old) and I spent the last week on the carnival glory . We had a terrific time. The ship was beautiful and our cabin was very clean although a little tight . I guess that is expected when a family of four shares one room. Our stateroom steward named Panya was so friendly and meticulous . He cleaned our room twice a day with new towels each time. The ship ...
Just got off the Carnival Glory.
The food overall was pretty good. We dined at the steak house one nite which was way over the top. Excellent service and very delicious meal!
I was really bummed over what this ship offers entertainment wise.
No real live (electric) bands except for one, and (sorry band) they needed some help.
Lots of Karoke (sp?) And I means lots. When we did get go ...
Carnival Glory Western Caribbean Cruise Review (Miami, Cozumel, Belize, Roatan, Grand Cayman).
ABOUT US
Family of four, myself and wife in 50's, 18 year old daughter and 10 year old son. My wife and I have cruised before many years ago, but kids have never cruised before.
THE HOTEL
We flew in day before. We stayed at the JW Marriott Marquis Miami. Highly recommended. A beautiful room. ...
We have cruised before but never with Carnival. This was a two week package organised from the UK which offered a good price as opposed to paying individually for two x one week packages and the air fare to Miami,
This package was taken primarily for the first week of the cruise as we wanted to repeat some of the experiences we had taken previously at its ports of call . This itinerary ...
After reading many reviews, we were unsure of what to expect upon entering the Carnival Glory. We were pleasently surprised and our time on the Glory FAR exceeded our expectations. First and foremost, the staff that work on this ship are BEYOND incredible. They are constantly available and ready to answer any questions and/or concerns that you may have while on the trip. They are always smiling ...
Overall, very memorable experience. We would travel again with Carnival.
Dining- There were so many varieties of food and the quality of food was good. We chose an assigned dining time and made some nice acquaintances. However, we wanted to switch to anytime dining because we were missing out on lots of evening activities due to dinner. It was not possible to switch to anytime dining. I really ...
We're experienced cruisers, this was our 25th as a couple, so we know our way around a ship.
The food in the dining room was entirely disappointing. Not bad, but definitely nothing to write home about. We ate lots of shrimp cocktail and caesar salad. Entrees were a bit eclectic but not overly well prepared. (We do consider ourselves adventurous eaters, rarely do we find something that we're not ...
My son and I enjoyed this cruise and its offerings. Our cabin was a basic interior room but was great for us. Our room attendant was so nice and helpful. She keep our room clean and was always pleasant. We loved the nice dark room which was great for sleeping in. We also enjoyed the daily first run movies. We had everything we needed and were cozy and comfortable.
The food was plentiful ...
This was our family's third cruise with Carnival. The web sight said this was an updated ship, that was completely untrue. The outside of the boat was missing paint in spots, rust everywhere, and was visibly dirty. The carpet thought out the ship was so old it was faded everywhere except the edges. The Dining room furniture looked like something goodwill would of thrown out, most of the lighting ...
