This was our family's third cruise with Carnival. The web sight said this was an updated ship, that was completely untrue. The outside of the boat was missing paint in spots, rust everywhere, and was visibly dirty. The carpet thought out the ship was so old it was faded everywhere except the edges. The Dining room furniture looked like something goodwill would of thrown out, most of the lighting was out and the service was poor to say the least. Our room smelled of stale cigarettes, the drapes where so old the backing was falling off. We had an Ocean view room however we where unable to see out because of the build up on the glass, either that or the steam building up from the extremely hot room. Which we was told as long as it was 74*or less that was their standards. However when they checked the temp. it said 76*, which it remained the entirety of our cruise. The Lido deck tiles were loose and people where constantly tripping over them. The 21 and older area was a joke the fountain was not working and to boot it was disgusting. Tiles where falling off the wall and the speakers was rusted solid . The serenity deck was equally bad the glass was never cleaned thought out the cruise and the outdoor shower looked almost like it had calcium build up. The service on this boat was what really upset us the most. Several times in the dinning room I felt like getting up and serving myself. If we wanted a drink we had to get it. For the first time we bought the Cheers program costing us 804.00 so we could try and drink all these problems away. However that is a sham to because if you want a drink and it happens to be 10.00 your going to pay for it anyway. In "short " THIS BOAT THE SERVICE AND CLEAN UP CREW SUCK!!!
