Amazing Cruise on the Equinox

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Celebrity Equinox

This was our first cruise and aside from a few minor complaints, it was amazing. We booked a transfer from the airport directly with Celebrity and it went very smoothly with the Celebrity representatives at the airport extremely easy to find. Embarkation took maybe 5 minutes at most and we were on the ship. The concierge class room we were in was a great size and the balcony with chairs and ...

This was my husbands first cruise and he was overwhelmed. Amazing cruise from beginning to end. Embarkation was very smooth, process completed in less than 15 mins. Our cabin was on the hump, deck 9. It was in a fabulous locationwith a huge balcony. Didn't hear any noise once the door was closed. We really enjoyed all the ports particularly Malta and the Amalfi Coast. Dining in the MDR ...

Great Ship, Good Places; Service and Delivery Problems All Over the Place

Excellent ship and destinations and the arrangements all seemed to go smoothly. Our problem was service which was erratic and sometimes plain rude and unhelpful. Many staff were exceptional such as our waitress at dinner-but try getting good service on the customer desk-service with a scowl every time. I get the impression that Celebrity is on a savings drive. Our friends in a normal cabin did ...

Mediterranean cruise minus Israel

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

I really enjoyed the above cruise on the celebrity constellation in October 2015. The employees of the company go out of their way to make you feel great. It was very disappointing not to go into Israel . Instead we went to 4 Greek islands. A shame there wasn't something else to break of all the old churches and look alike places, even tho they were interesting. Other cruises had many ...

Another Fabulous Celebrity Cruise!

Well, Celebrity did it again - We were booked to Israel and unfortunately, due to security concerns, Celebrity needed to change the itinerary...well - they did so with panache. While we were still disappointed with the modification, we certainly could not blame Celebrity for global politics. The overnight in Jerusalem was replaced with an overnight in Athens, and they replaced a few sea ...

Ok Cruise, But Not Up To Celebrity Standards

My 20th cruise and 5th with Celebrity - this was not nearly as good as the other Celebrity cruises. Some ways that Celebrity fell down: Embarkation was awful. We were dropped off by taxi and after going through initial security had to roll our luggage across a large parking lot in pouring rain while luggage handlers stood under shelter. Check in was quick. We did walk off disembarkation and ...

Celebrity Constellation itinerary change disappointing.

Although we had a wonderful time on board due to the great people we met from our Cruise Critic contacts, we felt the ship's atmosphere and entertainment were sorely lacking. Having travelled on the Infinity twice, we expected the same experience or better in the Constellation. We were very disappointed. The crew and Maitre "D" in the dining room went out of their way to please us. We didn't ...

Great Cruise Despite Change in Itinerary

This was my third cruise on a big ship. Overall, I was impressed with all aspects of this cruise. Service was very good, staff was very friendly, and both the food and service in the main dining room was better than on my 2 prior NCL cruises. I found my interior cabin to be very satisfactory, and kept very clean by house services. The cruise was originally destined for 3 days in Israel, ...

Exceeded All Expectations

My wife and I traveled on the Constellation in October of 2015 from Istanbul to Rome. Although our original itinerary had us spending three days in Israel, the violence there caused a diversion to several stops in Greece. Having not traveled to any of these ports, we were fine with the change and happy that we re-claimed 2 sea days along the way. We had a Concierge Veranda Cabin on Deck 7. ...

After a brief visit to Turkey a few years back we wanted to go to Istanbul. The October Constellation trip was a good price performer in the off season. We even got the free tips package, which was also popular with the crew as these cannot be removed :) The embarkation was smooth and trouble free. We took the Havatas Airport Bus (13TL) and stayed at The Point Hotel in Taksim Square which ...
