I just returned from a 5 day on the Paradise, calling at Grand Cayman and Cozumel.
We bought the Faster to the Fun package, and it took less than 30 minutes from dropping off the car to boarding the ship on departure day.
The room steward and Dining room Staff were Excellent, especially Nikola our head waiter. We all found the food to be very good, and there is always plenty of it! We ...
First, I will start off by saying the crew absolutely make this experience wonderful! They went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. The environment was relaxed and casual. I really can not complain about the room or staff.
However, there really is nothing for young kids to do except go in the pool. The pool is really small for the amount of guests on the ship.
The food is ...
My experience - I have been on more than 20 previous cruises dating back to 1989. I sailed on Royal Caribbean and Carnival as well as a few cruise lines that no longer exist including Crown, Dolphin and Premier.
The good: Our check-in and boarding experience was swift, friendly and easy. Our cabin steward was friendly and helpful. We were even provided with an in room refrigerator to keep our ...
We have taken several cruises on Royal Caribbean with happy results. This is our first Carnival and will definitely be our last. Most entertainment consisted of audience participation which is funny but also cost nothing to put on. Hours were left with no entertainment at all in order to promote sales in ship's stores. Buffet breakfasts and lunches were great. Evening dinners not so much; in ...
My family and I just returned from our first cruise. The kids are 7 and 9. I was both impressed and under impressed. First, the service by the staff is excellent. This we the first time in my life that I haven't had to clean up dishes as they clean up so leaving dishes anywhere is okay. The dining room staff was wonderful as was our room steward. We all truly had the best vacation so far.
Just ...
Boarding easy, had cabin M deck port holes. The box which stored life jackets gone now you can walk around bed, life jackets new not the old black greasy ones.
As reported in other reviews NO lobster, also the roasted pumpkin soup gone

We sailed on the Carnival Paradise out of Tampa on 11/14 to Grand Cayman and Cozumel. As a first time cruiser, I wasn't sure what to expect. In no particular order, here are my thoughts...
- Overall, had a good time and I believe cruising, like anything else, is as fun as you make it
- Boarding process was unorganized and chaotic
- Friendly staff
- Food was decent. Some things like ...
Our first ever cruise left lots to be desired. Not much to offer in shipboard activities, unless you want to buy buy buy jewelry or constantly pose for way overpriced photos. Unorganized schedule when there was activities, nothing ever started on time including dinner! Buffet food was only average, dining room food was very good but not excellent. Dining room servers were fantastic as well as the ...
Just returned from a 5 day 2 stop cruise. I referred to this cruise as the "Walmart" cruise, totally no frills. The boat was super clean. The food was good and all service was very good. That's about it for the good. There was only one stage performance all week. Makes you wonder what those talented performers did the rest of the time,[fold towels perhaps?]. The cruise director Steve played the ...
Just got off the Carnival Paradise and after reading a lot of negative reviews, I decided to write this review. First, keep in mind that the ship is older but the staff is constantly cleaning and is extremely happy & friendly. I've been in customer service for over 25 years and was very pleased at the service from the room steward, to the servers, to the spa and casino. The food was also very good ...
