Just returned from a 5 day 2 stop cruise. I referred to this cruise as the "Walmart" cruise, totally no frills. The boat was super clean. The food was good and all service was very good. That's about it for the good. There was only one stage performance all week. Makes you wonder what those talented performers did the rest of the time,[fold towels perhaps?]. The cruise director Steve played the fiddle in the one production show and the next night he was the stage act alone as a juggler. There was very little entertainment on the ship. Two guitar players who moved about the boat and a 5 piece band. These acts were seldom performing before dinner and usually not until after 10 P.M. Daytime activities included a DJ at the pool, bingo, various trivia games and napkin folding. Gambling and drinking continue to be a big part of cruising and that's cool. The dinning experience continues to be less special as printed T-shirts, backwards ball caps and sleeveless "wife beater" shirts are now considered appropriate as are blue jeans and shorts. There's still hope for some class at dinner, they did refuse service to two guys who showed up in the dinning room in their Bath robes. Why is the cruise line afraid to enforce the rules? Don't get me wrong it was cheap, cheap, cheap! so what do you expect? Oh, no longer do they place a mint on the pillow. No big deal, just another cost cutting measure. It did take us 2 hours to get off the ship upon arriving home and we were the in the first group off, so allow plenty of time for pick-up and early flights. Lastly,Veterans were invited to a program honoring them,no food,no drinks. A picture was taken and the Vets were ask to pay $22 for the photo. Happy Veterans Day! Are you kidding me? The whole weeks experience reminds me of Walmart.

Cabin 4C

Super Cabin service. Small cabin, no night stands and no chair on the room. A little worn, but very clean.
