Carnival Mediterranean Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Truck Stop Style Cruising

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Carnival Vista

Carnival knows its business, and we were impressed by the large number of young passengers, so the Carnival "anything goes" style is obviously attracting people. But it's not really for us. First the bouquets and thanks - Vista is a lovely ship and our Havana Aft View cabin was beautiful. The entire Havana area is beautiful and we felt privileged to have access to it. The quality of all the ...

We chose this cruise as we were 3 families with varying ages of kids. We also chose it because our cruise agent told us it was brand new and unlike the other ships we had been on previously. The ship is brand new and spotless. It has everything you could wish for entertainment-wise: Imax theatre in 3D; thrill 4d theatre; Huge waterpark with waterworks; 3 swimming pools; sky ride; mini golf etc ...

Low Rent, Low Value

This is our fifth cruise and third on Carnival - all in all, it was a 6 on a scale of 1-10 and here is why: The food was mediocre at best. Very much like a hospital cafeteria. You can get GREAT food but you have to pay for it at the "specialty restaurants such as sushi, steak houses, etc. The staff took very little pride in their jobs. Our stateroom housekeeper was fantastic but the main areas ...

First Time to Europe! Great time, enjoyed the new Vista. Some dining glitches.

The ship décor was fresh and modern. The port stops are all amazing with plenty to see and do. We did a combo of our own excursions and Carnival's. We booked the Mt. Vesuvius/Pompeii excursion through Carnival and it was really good. The comedians were good. Overall we enjoyed the cruise. However, we had a set late dining table at 8:15pm and for the first 5 nights, they kept moving our table, each ...

We choose Carnival as they had a new ship and it was departing from Barcelona. The price was very reasonable for a ten night cruise as compared to Royal Caribbean. We have completed six cruises with Royal Caribbean and were apprehensive about changing to another company. We were not disappointed by Carnival Cruises and would definitely cruise with them again. We booked a package which ...

Happy Holiday with Carnival Vista

It was not the first cruise with Carnival and I was happy with all services. I traveled with my son aged 13 years and both have the same opinion about the Carnival holiday spent on Vista. We made two cruises starting July 9, from Barcelona to Athens and back. The trail seemed interesting to me. I would like to appreciate the guide we had in shore excursion from Athens, Ms. Angeliki, which made ...

My family of three love cruising and so did the other family of four. It's nice to go with another family and let the kids have fun together as well as, the grown ups having their own time. We've been on Royal Caribbean, Princess (the worst), Disney (the best) and Carnival (in between). We chose the latest cruise ship (Carnival Vista) which just came out in May 2016 - the new décor and the lay out ...

Vista is nice, but Carnival is cutting back.

We have been on 8 different Carnival Cruise ships, we booked our trip on the Vista a year in advance and were so excited to be on the 7th sailing of this new vessel. Overall, the ship is beautiful and the activities are plentiful. But as frequent Carnival cruisers, we were disappointed at several aspects of the new ship. First and foremost was the Liquid Lounge. The seating is horrible. Carnival ...

We really enjoyed cruising the Mediterranean on the new Carnival Vista. The ships was fantastic with lots of things to do. We loved the Sky Ride, Sky Walk Ropes Course, Imax, Thrill Theater, and the Water Works area. We had to drag the kids away each time we had to head for dinner. We have been on a few Carnival cruises now and this had the best food by far, especially the breakfast options. ...

Bigger NOT Better

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Carnival Vista

The Food has become a POOR selection. Its not the original Carnival food that made it something to talk about. Its more Corporate. The Lido buffet sitting area increased by 10percent. Not enough to handle the 1000 more people on the ship. Employees cannot keep up with the demand of keeping dirty tables clean and it is VERY CROWDED and unable to find sitting. They do now have an eating area ...
