Carnival Los Angeles Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

The Hawaii Nightmare

My wife and I went with 4 other couples to celebrate my sister-in-laws 50th birthday. As a group we've been planning this trip for nearly 2 years. When we booked the trip we expected that Carnival would know that the weather is not good during this time of year, and we never would have booked this trip knowing that fact. Sailing across the pacific we knew that leaving from Long Beach the ...

Great cruise with 8 sea days!

We wanted a cruise with maximum sea days and this cruise fit the bill. The Miracle is great, lots of activities, bars and sitting areas. The lido and sun decks have plenty of seating and loungers. Mini golf was just tricky enough to be fun. Phantom theater and shows, lectures, bingo all comfortable and fun. Food in dining room and Horatio's very good. All in all a great ship and a great ...

Good Cruise, Bad timing (weather),

Chose this cruise to "get away and have a good time." Sadly with cruises of longer length there is a much older crowd. The ships nightlife was not as energized as my previous cruises. Carnival did do a good job of trying to please all but a shotgun blast will only work for close range and shorter cruises. Previous Journeys cruises I have been on did provide so much more entertainment and a ...

Captive of Carnival for 12 days out of 15

My title sums it up. I thought it would be nice to have 4 days before and after visiting Hawaii. It did not think about the fact we may have to skip a port or 2. Even that did not seem too bad until it happened. In Honolulu, we were told we could not get into the next stop because of bad weather at that port. We were told that we could have a 2nd day in Honolulu. OK That seemed reasonable, BUT we ...

The Worst Cruise We Have Ever Taken

My husband and I are regular cruisers. The majority of our cruises have been with Carnival with no really bad experiences until now. I have to say that it will probably be awhile before we take another. We chose this one because we liked the idea of being on a long cruise. We have priority boarding as we are Platinum. The port at Long Beach leaves a lot to be desired. You are left to stand ...

We took this cruise to celebrate our 50th Wedding anniversary. I am so glad we did. This was our 8th cruise with Carnival and it did not disappoint. We had blast meeting new friends and singing in the Piano Bar with Elizabeth (She was Fantastic). We toured Pearl Harbor which was a real moving experience. I can't say much about the food because my wife and I agreed to not make this trip all about ...

We picked this 15 day from Long Beach, California to Hawaii so we didn't have to fly to Honolulu. Third time on the Miracle and it's better than ever. So many great places to relax and enjoy sea days. Service was the best of our 15 cruises! Nick and Nora's Steakhouse was wonderful and the dining room service from Eva and Zodar was superb! While we're both port people, this was the best it ...

The Grand Suite Disaster

This may be the last time to see my BROTHER. That was the main reason for my wife & I to go. We were looking forward to be in THE GRAND SUITE .Little did we know that we where going to have a room with major things so wrong and during the cruise we missed two ports and two excursions and we were stuck on the ship for two extra days. My wife and I decided to fill up the whirlpool tub in our room. ...

This was my second Carnival cruise. I had, overall, a good time and I will start with the good from this cruise. The staff was incredibly friendly and seemed to be everywhere. Jaime, the Cruise Director was fantastic. I am retired USAF, and the military program one afternoon was memorable. Many vets I saw were in tears. Possibly due to the itinerary which included Honolulu, there were an ...

Poor: Housekeeping, Food, Service, Attitude. Old ship. This ship is very old if it would try to get a higher speed than 25 knots it would most likely fall apart, speaking of the ship and it's engine, you can feel the engine roaring and vibrating on every floor. If you want to know how it felt like sleeping, tell your Grandmother your dying, put your phone on vibrate and under your pillow and try ...
