Chose this cruise to "get away and have a good time." Sadly with cruises of longer length there is a much older crowd. The ships nightlife was not as energized as my previous cruises. Carnival did do a good job of trying to please all but a shotgun blast will only work for close range and shorter cruises. Previous Journeys cruises I have been on did provide so much more entertainment and a broader spectrum of choices with more changes in acts. The Crew was spectacular and did work hard to ensure my food, drink, comfort were addressed. Sadly weather did impact movements and itinerary of the ship. The ship definitely lacks some of the updates which I would consider Carnival Trademarks and could easily be addressed ie Guys Burgers. The Steakhouse definitely did not meet the expectations which I had based on experiences provided on other ships. For me this is not a gotta do again experience.
