Carnival Caribbean Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

It was as expected, not good or bad

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Dream

A group of friends traveled on the Carnival Dream March 5-12. It was a varied group of past cruisers and newbies. This was my second cruise, the previous was 5 years ago. Please let me preface this by saying that I'm not a big fan of cruises, I have nothing against them, just not my style of vacation, but went along with the group. Embarkation - A bit of a train wreck. The gangway at the Port ...

First Time to the Western Caribbean

We have sailed the Eastern and Southern Caribbean. My family members were interested in the Mayan Ruins so I booked this trip during my college daughter's spring break. I was informed at embarkation that because I did not have a passport I was expected to bring my marriage license as the name on my driver's license does not match my birth certificate - point taken for future cruises. Service, ...

I chose this cruise because my friends were taking this cruise, and it was reasonably priced. We were initially supposed to land in Cozumel and Grand Cayman for a day each, and most of us specifically chose this cruise because we wanted to go to the Grand Cayman. We were also supposed to be meet up with other friends when we landed in the Grand Caymans. Instead, Carnival cancelled the stop at ...

CHANGE OF PORT.. THEN CANCELLATION OF PORT. spent 4 days at sea on a smelly boat

Carnival Paradise. WORST CRUISE EXPERIENCE EVER. Don't ever take a carnival cruise, ESPECIALLY on the carnival paradise. I just returned from what was supposed to be a 5 day western Caribbean cruise to Cozumel and Grand Cayman. For starters, the day before our cruise, we were informed that there was a problem with the engines that affected the maximum cruising speed, and we were no longer going to ...

You Can't Control the Weather!

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Carnival Sunshine

This was a spring break family cruise. It was a lot of fun, even with a few days of bad weather. This sailing on the Sunshine was my 13th cruise total, 7th on Carnival, and 1st on the Sunshine. Every cruise is different and memorable in its own way. I will remember the Sunshine for the fun port days (going to a beach on each island) and the big waves we travelled through to get there. The ship had ...

I chose this cruise as a budget trip for me & a friend. I've never been on Carnival, but have cruised several times on Holland America. About 2 days before the trip, which had planned ports of Grand Cayman & Cozumel, some people received an email the Grand Cayman was out & had been replaced by Costa Maya. I did not receive this notification so I didn't find out until we were on the ship. I ...

Took this ship to see if we could take New Years cruise on same ship. Well the minute we disembarked we cancelled our New Years cruise to rebook on Royal Caribbean. We have 30+ cruises behind us on Carnival, Royal, Norwegian and Princess. This ship is too small for our liking. We have read reviews about the poor layout, and we agree. One reviewer wrote about circumventing the smoke filled ...

My First Cruise!

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Conquest

My sister & my mother joined me. We were all in one room (category 8C - balcony stateroom). It was definitely adequate for the 3 of us. The bathroom is well-designed to utilize the space & there is more than enough storage for our things. Guy's Burger Joint is amazing. There is also a deli that was a great little find & a poolside pizza place that offers awesome made-while-you-wait pizza. We ...

Carnival's reputation made us avoid them for 35 years, but heard a positive report recently and gave in so we could drive vs. fly. FOOD: I have always said I'm not particular about my food; that I like almost everything. Give me a cold piece of fried chicken and I'm happy. I like vegetables crisp or soggy, ditto salad lettuce. I'm the ultimate easy guy to cook for. Carnival's dining room ...

Bad room to reserve

Wife and I took the Carnival Sunshine cruise out of Port Canaveral 3/4. Food was very good. We reserved cabin 7152. The first 3 nights were moderately rough (wave wise). Several times at night there was a VERY loud, forceful bang on the wall of our stateroom. Like somebody was banging a sledgehammer against the wall. I had someone from Guest Services come up and he said he probably knew ...
