This is our 15th cruise, and second on HAL. Holland America's service is outstanding as is the food. Yes, the Zuiderdam is an older ship, but, a well maintained and clean vessel. EMBARKATION. It was a breeze at the terminal in Civitavecchia as half of the Zuiderdam’s passengers were staying on from the previous cruise. With no lines, we were processed in minutes.
