Two lower beds convertible to 1 king-size bed, bathroom with dual sink vanity, full-size whirlpool bath, shower and additional shower stall, large sitting area, dressing room, private verandah, 1 sofa bed for 2 persons, floor-to-ceiling windows. Approximately 500–712 sq. ft. including verandah.
Plenty of closet and drawer space. Spacious. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Needed night light (brought from home) for dressing room area. No place to plug in bathroom. Big couch was a slippery leather, not so comfy, and only two tiny pillows on it. Small TV and you need to get DVDs from front office but they are missing most of the selections. Again, the dry dock will take care of some of those things. Read entire member review >>
Wonderfully spacious suite positioned mid-ship with excellent access to the Neptune Lounge for suite guests. King sized bed, sofa and side chairs with coffee table. Large desk area under big window. Tons of closet and drawer space. Also included coffee maker and substantial glassware for drinks in suite.
Huge veranda with 36" dining table and four chairs plus two chairs with ottomans for lounging and a small side table between. Excellent views out, forward and aft due to mid-ship location.
Ship is expected to have suite upgrades installed during drydock this fall. Read entire member review >>
The cabin attendents were very friendly and efficient. They made sure that we had everything we needed. This room is in a great location near the mid ship elevators. I would definetly ask for this room again. Read entire member review >>
We loved the fact that in addition to the balcony door, we had a large window over a desk area. We had plenty of light and space. My only criticism of the suite was that the TV had a small screen which, due to the size of the cabin, was difficult to see either from the bed or the leather sofa. There were also two chairs in the cabin which we usually pulled closer to the TV. This type of cabin needs a larger TV. Loved the two sinks in the bathroom, but had to use the shower in the tub rather than the separate shower because the shower head couldn't be adjusted high enough to fit under. We didn't even use half of the storage space available in the cabin. Since we received free laundry and dry cleaning with the suite, we didn't have to pack much. Our cabin attendant, Made, was wonderful. Read entire member review >>
Furniture was damaged and very very old looking....everything seemed like left over from 25 years ago! There was a leaking patch on our ceiling ... but worst was out bed! Two small beds pushed together to make one bed...they would slide apart and I woke up with pain in my back and sleeping in a hole every morning Read entire member review >>
Very pleased with the Neptune a Suite experience. It was fun to have breakfast (which arrived hot) on the large verandah. Our cabin steward did a good job. However, we rarely saw him. It may be that the cabin stewards are now responsible for more cabins than was true in our previous experience. The Neptune a Lounge was exceptionally convenient and the concierge very helpful. She even changed a scheduled shore excursion at the last moment (after the desk downstairs had closed), Read entire member review >>
The room was roomy and the only complain we have was the slightly higher noise level due to its proximity to the Neptune Lounge. On the other hand, its proximity to the Neptune Lounge was really convenient to just walk in and grab a cup of coffee when needed. Our cabin attendant were always courteous and professional. Bayu and Sodiq were our suite attendants and kept our suite immaculate, they always greeted us by name and unfortunately did not fit in our suitcases for the trip home. I had no need to ever speak with the hotel manager but his stewardship was evident everywhere. The ship was immaculate 24/7. Read entire member review >>
Vast amounts of space.Very comfortable bed, with a variety of pillows. The balcony is very large with a table and four chairs as well as two armchairs with Ottomans. Deck blankets are provided, too.A large desk area, facing the window, provides ample space for organizing things. A second, smaller counter next to the sofa provides a second area, and the chairs are a perfect height to make use of it.Six closets, with plenty of space and stowable shelves in two of them. The walkin in dressing area provides full lenght mirrors on the closet doors.A generous bathroom with two sink vanity, and separate tub and shower. Read entire member review >>
If your stateroom is on deck 7 try to stay away from the entrances to Neptune Lounge (both port and starboard). It can get busy and noisy in the immediate vicinity of Neptune Lounge -- besides, your privacy may be compromised. Read entire member review >>
7061 -- Deluxe Verandah Suite. Large, comfortable suite. Balcony is large as is the bathroom with double sinks and separate tub (whirlpool) and shower. Proximity to Neptune Lounge is convenient, but we noticed a bit of noise in the hallway on a couple of mornings. Read entire member review >>
A little far from the Neptune Lounge if that is important. But an overall smooth ride, even when the seas were a little rough. Lots of storage. Not sure about the toilet which had a delay in the flush some of the time. Read entire member review >>
We found our way to our stateroom, no. 7047, it was just behind the penthouse. The suite was a spacious 380 sqf inside and had a 130 sqf verandah. The bathroom consisted of a jetted tub; separate shower stall with curtain, toilet and double sinks, there was a walk-through closet area with ample storage and an abundance of hangars, there is an in-room safe, the laundry and pressing service was complimentary and unlimited when staying in a deluxe verandah suite, a definate benefit. Elmis amenities were provided. The living area had a three-seater angled sofa and two armchairs, there was a splendid study area facing out of the window with a lot of desk space, there was small flatscreen television, we ordered a mariner bouquet of flowers costing US$60 which decorated the room substantially.
The bed was most comfortable, a Sealy Posturepedic Euro-Top mattress, there were many pillows. The double sofabed sagged slightly, it was not very sleep provocative. The verandah was spacious and featured two lounge chairs with ottomans, a small table, two chairs and a high table, there were glass fronted railings. The minibar was very affordable, only US$2 for a soft drink. On arrival we were given a bottle of imitation Champagne and a bottle of Voss water which probably cost more.
7047 is in a good location to the forward lift lobby, there are no sounds from above, as above is another floor of staterooms and not a public facility, it is a few steps from the Neptune Lounge and there are not many easily audiable sounds from the corridor. Read entire member review >>
We were in the Deluxe Verandah Suite 7070. Loved the storage. There was plenty of room to hang and fold clothes and store souvenirs to keep them out of the way. The bathroom was larger than the one we have at home. Jacuzzi tub w/shower head and separate shower and 2 vanity sink. Shampoo, Conditioner, and Shower Gel all supplied on the wall. Separate Medicine cabinets. Couch was comfortable. The bed was wonderful. Incredibly soft sheets and great selection of pillows. The air had great controls for temperature. If you are a frequent visitor to the Neptune Lounge, this is a great location. It is two rooms off the main foyer, so you are close enough to quickly go to the Neptune for coffee or a snack, but far enough away that you can't hear others doing the same. Close to the elevator, too. On the port side so you have great views coming into port. Read entire member review >>
Zuiderdam - cabin #7065
Huge balcony - tons of storage space - across from the Neptune lounge for easy access to coffee, latte, cappuccino, tea, snacks and any questions are answered from our concierge friends.
Breakfast available every morning (except when we are at ports) in the lovely Pinnacle grill restaurant.
Basket of fruit, champagne, flowers, robes and slippers. I think your room steward sneaks a peak at your shoes while cleaning on the first day as your slippers arrive the following day - and they are your size!
The deluxe suite is filled with many more amenities and worth EVERY penny extra. Read entire member review >>
Great location -- not too close and not too far from Neptune Lounge. Nice balcony with two lounge chairs and also two chairs and a table for outside dining. Quiet area as there did not appear to be much foot traffic in hallways. Read entire member review >>
