We chose because of the Panama Canal. The cruise was good; the weather was fabulous. It's always nice to sit on the verandah and enjoy the ocean. Room staff were excellent!

Good:
- Housekeeping services. Cordial and kept the room clean and neat. Every time we came back to the room, the bed was made. Every evening they left a nice towel animal.

We choose this cruise for its itinerary and went as a large group of friends and couples. Everyone observed the ship's poor condition; filthy deck chairs, worn-out brown carpeting, rusting rails, stains on every cushion, it was just plain disgusting down to the hairs we found in our dining napkins.

This was my 30th cruise and my first and LAST with Holland America. Embarkation and debarkation were a nightmare if you needed wheelchair assistance. My friend and I both need it.
