The cabin was quite acceptable. It was comfortable and with quite good storage space. The cabin stewards (2 of then) were excellent and could not do enough for you. Negatives were, the air conditioning was leaking inside the main wardrobes, condensation water was leaking down onto our clothing leaving many clothes wet and stained with a yellow color. Twice the hotel management were called, on both occasions clothing was taken away for cleaning. The hotel and cabin staff were very helpful, but wet and damaged clothing should never happen. Another annoyance, our cabin was located close to one of the our side doors leading to the deck 3 Promenade Deck, the hydraulic arm on the door was non-effective, the door would always bang closed in the wind, disturbing us when sleeping, this should also not happen, it was reported but never repaired. This cabin is located on the Lower Promenade which is a deck where people can walk around the deck and are right outside your window. The windows are tinted and if you keep the lights off or pull the drapes you will be fine. There is a door that is located right next to this cabin and it is a very large wooden door which slams shut every time someone enters/exits and it really shakes and jars the cabin. If you are asleep when this happens, you will undoubtedly feel and hear it well. I would not select this cabin again only for that reason. The cabin stewards are very good and keep your cabin well. We had an Ambulatory Assesible Cabin which basically means the shower has grab bars and shower seat. My father has balancing issues and needs a shower seat. I heard from another fellow cruiser who has balancing issues requested a shower stool but they had a new regulation that cabins in the tub shower combination cannot have a shower stool. I do not know if this is fleet wide and have not verified the information. This cabin could accommodate my dad’s walker but It would not accommodate a wheel chair or Scooter. Read Less
Zandaam - Horrible : Cabin 3412
Sail Date: April 2017
The cabin was a decent size and was clean however, there is only 1 outlet in the entire cabin - and that includes the washroom - and it was next to a light switch. Anytime a hair dryer was plugged in the lights would flicker and go off.

3383, Partially Obstructed Ocean View. Only one electrical outlet. The window overlooks the Lower Promenade, so curtains are usually kept closed. Even when open, you look out over a solid, waist-high wall, so you mostly just see the horizon. The galley is directly above and noisy at night. It is nice to have quick access to the promenade, but in our opinion this cabin is not worth the extra cost over an interior stateroom. Read Less
