1-10 of 143 Windstar Wind Surf Outside Cabin Cruise Reviews
We sailed with the Wind Surf on Sicilian Splendors ( Oct.6, 2022) The name of the itinerary was incorrect on the form to write this review. We reserved this trip 2020, 2021, and finally we were able be on the Surf this October. Three years of waiting with anticipation and indeed it did not disappoint.
Everything about the Wind Surf that we love was out in full force: superb staff, beautiful ...
We have been trying to sail the Classic Dalmatia and the Croatia Coast itinerary since COVID and I'm so happy our dreams finally came true! We have been lucky to sail on Windstar on a previous 6 cruises so it was like coming home!
This time around we booked Cabin 146 (this was our 3rd attempt at this specific itinerary). We typically sail aft so I wasn't very excited about being so far forward ...
Wind Surf is a beautiful motorized five mast sailing yatch that can accomodate ~ 342 pasengers and a crew of ~ 200. The crew is what makes Wind Star ships special. The crew is very attentive and make you feel special. The crer will know your name and your favorate beverage in a day or two.
The food is excellent in all three resturants. The Stella Bistro and Candles are small speciality ...
A Windstar cruise has always been on our radar and we were excited to finally book one. It did not disappoint! We booked 15 nights on back to back itineraries Venice to Barcelona and loved all of the ports. This was our first small cruiseline. We may never go back to large cruiseships again! The crew and dining were exceptional. We particularly enjoyed the specialty restaurants and the weekly BBQ ...
We had been waiting for our BIG return to cruising following the Covid pause and were excited to see that Wind Surf would still be in The Caribbean during our vacation. The booking process was simple, all though the protocols for testing and transit through SXM were a bit confusing, but we managed to wade through the emails and figure out what steps we needed to complete to sail. It had been 10 ...
I am writing this as I go through my mandatory quarantine following another great cruise on the Wind Surf (the last one before operations were halted). This was our second Windstar cruise in less than 4 months after having done a 14-day BTB Caribbean cruise with some friends on Star Legend in November. This time we were travelling as a couple and met 2 other couples from our hometown of Montreal ...
We chose the Windstar Windsurf itinerary to celebrate my husband’s 55th Birthday and we are so glad we did!!
It was a very nice change to sail on such a small ship as we enjoyed the beautiful views of the gorgeous islands and beautiful yachts surrounding us. The cruise staff were truly amazing people that went out of their way to make our cruise a memorable experience. From the food to the ...
We have been on many Windstar Cruises and I have written many reviews. This trip we were on the refitted Wind Surf. The Surf is an old lady and she has aged well. We always admire her being maintained so well. The new lounge beautiful, new furniture in the Yacht Club lovely, new hall rugs in keeping with sailing and pretty, lovely waiting area for the Amphora, new comfortable furniture at Compass ...
We were very impressed with this smaller ship. Although full there were no lines, no queues, no crowds, easy tendering and embarkation and so on. Easy to get around. Lots of outside space. with various bars with decks. Always a seat or lounger when wanted.
Coffee Bar and snacks service was free.
All restaurants had noticeably great and varied food without being 'poncy' ( yes we are ...
A travel agent booked our group. Itinerary was interesting but the rest of the experience was below expectations, especially at the price point of $4599 for 8 nights! The ship has definitely seen better days. Far from a Superior or Luxury trip. Few amenities. Underwhelming entertainment. Port lectures short on history and mainly a sales tool. Dinners even in the specialty restaurants were mediocre ...
