Our stateroom 236 was updated a number of years ago. The room is spacious with many built-in features for entertainment and storage. There are extra overhead bins for storage and the bed is raised to allow all your luggage to be stowed away nicely. The bed is queen size (Canada/USA standard) and the support under the mattress is uncomfortable, much like sleeping on a cot or pullout couch. The pillows and comforter are very nice. The heating/air conditioning in the room works very well. We traveled in hot sunny weather and the room remained nice and cool at all times. There are no balconies in the state rooms, just 2 small round window ports, which are very rough, rusted, and fogged up (installed 26 years ago), with nice curtains to hide them. The washroom is traditionally sized (tight) with single sink, rounded toilet cubical, rounded shower cubical with curtain and great water temperature and pressure. The overall condition of the rooms is good, with obviously visible signs of aging (loose pot lights, delaminating shelving, broken & scratched furniture). Once again, we used this ship as a water taxi from port to port, so we didn't spend much time in the room other than to sleep and get ready for the day. For that purpose it was plenty comfortable. Our stateroom was on the lower deck, midship. We barely felt the motion of the ship, and it was such a quiet area that we were able to sleep blissfully each night. We enjoyed hearing the sound of the water lapping against our porthole, lulling us to sleep. The beds were the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in (we have high-end mattresses at home and would happily trade them for the Windsurf mattresses in our stateroom). The shower was great, good water pressure and several choices of showerheads. Our stateroom was small, but we never felt crowded. The young man who did our stateroom housekeeping was friendly and efficient, so that we could always count on a clean and pleasant environment. Room service for meals was also excellent. Read Less

Cabin 212, Wind SurfAlthough only 188 sq feet, it was well organized and had a lot of storage places. The bathroom was small but not cramped. We had 2 portholes - as did all of the cabins on this ship. No one had a balcony. No one had an inside cabin. The location was quiet - near the SPA, but I never noticed the traffic to the SPA. I never heard noises from any other cabins. Staff was good at making up the room daily, and turning our bed down at night. It was nice to get little chocolate hearts as we headed off to bed on our nightstand. It was a great cabin, great experience. Read Less

We had cabin #132, it was on the bottom floor ( there are only 3 floors with cabins), center ship. We think it is spacious, we love the little rocking of the ship for sleeping. This floor and being mid-ship has the least movement. Plenty of storage,, a nice desk, flat screen TV, BOSE iPod dock ( they furnish the iPod ) nice bathroom, great water pressure ( the most important thing in a bathroom for me ). It is a sailing ship's bath but very comfortable, lots of storage. Read Less

We were in 251 and 253. Very nice midship. No noise to speak of and easy access to all parts of the ship.
