My wife and I got married on this cruise!!! The service was impeccable, the food delicious and the ship board experience intimate with only 140 people aboard. We made great friends on board and love the destinations. In some cases we were the only ship in the harbor as the big ships could not be accomodated. Monemvasia, Greece was over the top fun and scenic. In a few harbors where there were big ships, we watched as hundreds of passengers waited in line to return to their ship while we arrived at the Windstar disembark point and were greated with ice tea and the smiling faces of Windstar staff helping us on board immediately! The worst part about the cruise is that we are now completely spoiled and could never go on one of the larger cruise ships! I highly recommend this cruise line! Read Less

Cruise was great, but started out with poor weather (rain and wind from the East). We had to change itinerary and visit two different ports because of the wind. Windstar can not control the weather, and that's the only negative thing about this week's cruise. The ship is very comfortable, just the right size-small. Being small you get to know other passengers and the crew. Veranda for breakfast and lunch (if you have lunch on board) and dinner in a nice dinning room (or Candles, which we did not try). Food was very good and like any cruise - endless. While I'm talking about food, I must talk about Zomie, the head chef. He was excellent. Not only did he prepare great meals, he took us on a market day shopping tour, taught a cooking class, was the best staff line dancer, and always had a smile. All the staff were very nice and would do just about anything for you. Bridge was open when under sail and the people there were informative. I took the engine room tour and the chief engineer was not only informative, but a frustrated comedian. My wife enjoyed the spa! Capri and Monemvasia were great. Other ports were not so great. We had to change two ports because of wind from the East and poor anchorage. Windspirit being the size it is could get into small ports and make changes when necessary. Excursions were very good, but expensive. Most ports we anchored and tendered to shore. Also had the opportunity to swim off the stern while in Gythion. Cabins are all the same on Windspirit. Comfortable bed, reasonable space, good bathroom. We were midships on the lower deck and had little noise. Traditional chocolate and towel animal every evening when we returned to the cabin. The sails were up for a limited time. Sometimes wind coming from wrong direction and sometimes too strong. Played music each day as we left port and put up sails - very inspiring. Many photo opportunities. One last note: Laundry package was a deal. Drink prices are reasonable. Internet is too expensive. Read Less
