We did a pile of research and determined that Mrs. Cruiser and I wanted to be on Princess on the southbound sailing from Whittier through the Alaska Glaciers (Hubbard Glacier, Glacier Bay). -Don't try to take a quick inland tour before your cruise. Do what we did and take at least a week to see inland Alaska (ride the Wilderness Express on the Alaska Railroad! You will thank me later!) I recommend this be a separate vacation. -The Stewards/Stewardesses and Waiters/Waitresses are AMAZING! But just know ~$15/day gratuity will be charged to your room account daily. That is why ...

We've sailed on Princess twice now in 2022. In April we sailed on the Ruby and July the Royal. I've been wanting to do a Princess cruise for a while now. Princess always has been and is still the best cruise line for Alaskan cruises. The itinerary is the best. The cabin was a balcony, the only way to go in Alaska.
