This was a great cruise with a wonderful itinerary. You must see Glacier Bay. It was wonderful to have a park ranger come on board during our cruising that day to talk about the area. I enjoyed the naturalist on board during the week who shared about the wildlife we were seeing. Our captain was wonderful- enthusiastic and friendly, which I believe made the staff happy and enthusiastic. We ...
My husband and I enjoyed this Cruise/Tour 4 years ago and loved it. I decided it would be a great trip to use to introduce my sister and my two cousins to cruising (hubby stayed home with the pups). This was my seventh Princess cruise, but then I have never cruised another line to compare. I have never felt the need, as Princess has almost always been enjoyable. We had a mini suite on Dolphin ...
This cruise was for our 25th anniversary so we splurged a little more than we normally would have. We booked almost a year early to make sure we got the room we wanted (B416 mini-suite on the port forward facing bump-out). That may have led to the only "negative" we had on this cruise. When we booked there was no such thing as "Club Class" so when Club Class was announced I pretty much ignored ...
We chose this cruise because it was our 40th wedding anniversary. After research and talking with our travel agent we found out that Princess had it's own lodges for the land portion we wanted and was one of the few cruise lines that could cruise Glacier Bay and get up close to the glaciers. We had previously done 2 cruises with Oceania but their itinerary did not work for our time. We knew ...
We chose the Coral Princess as we knew that the mattresses had been replaced recently. (We had problems with this on a prior Princess cruise.) The mattress was great! This was the first time we had a mini-suite and appreciated the extra space. Our cabin was on the port side almost at the back of the ship, but there were no issues being so far back. In fact, it's a very quiet location and was ...
Land portion was great - except for placing your suitcase in the hallway of the Lodges about 6 am. Nice accommodations at three Princess lodges, pricey food in dining rooms, excellent included tour packages.
(By the way, nobody mentioned that a FOOD PACKAGE was available for Lodges and train ride! Would have been nice and saved us some money.)
Cruise was okay - not bad, not great. Since the ...

Hi Davey Jones Dentist, we're so happy that enjoyed your recent trip on Coral Princess! Thank you for your valuable feedback as we continue to strive to provide an unforgettable experience...
Studied the internet with reviews and decided on the Coral based on size, dining, and itinerary. This was our first cruise and it was for our 30th anniversary so it needed to be special. We did the Princess Transfer from the airport to Whittier. We left Anchorage around 12pm and we were on the ship in less than 2 hours.
Going in early May it was too icy to get close to the Hubbard Glacier. I ...
We chose to go on the Coral Princess as the ports were what we wanted and the prices better than the other ships leaving the same time. This was our first Princess cruise and with the exception of another (Ruby Princess that followed) will be our last.
Most of our fellow passengers were content so it must be my wife and I that did not have a wonderful experience. Perhaps we were expecting a ...
We did the pre tour of Alaska first and joined the ship in Whittier.
Princess were well organised on the tour and handled our luggage well.
The embarkation process was smooth and quick. Luggage waiting on board and we went straight to lunch before exploring.
Cabins were comfortable, great walk in wardrobe with plenty of hangers.
Ship was quite easy to get around, but it did have some ...
I have cruised 4 times with Princess. Twice on the Grand, once on the Dawn and now the Coral. Although I've never been unhappy with any of the experiences aboard a Princess ship I must say the Coral experience was most certainly the best. I just returned from the Southbound Alaska sailing from Aug. 27th to September 3rd. My wife and I traveled along with one other couple. Both of us are in our ...
