Cabin steward was efficient, friendly and helpful. The cabin and its amenities were average. Veranda and furnishings appeared rundown and badly worn. The veranda chairs were filthy and badly stained. The ventilator in the ceiling of the cabin was badly encrusted with dirt and dust and appeared to have been left unattended for several months. The cabin steward vacuumed it immediately upon request. Well appointed and decorated in an attractive manner. Ample size. Had a bathtub and would have much rather had a shower.

Cabin was tight for two people even though it was supposed to be a family cabin. Stuarts came twice a day, and brought ice in the morning and was melted by happy hour and had to ask for ice everyday.

This cabin was partially obstructed by lifeboats but had a slightly better view than the ones all along this hallway. It had floor to ceiling windows like a balcony, and actually had a little deck outside but it was for working on the lifeboats and was often occupied by guys in overalls. I appreciated the extra light and didn't mind the working guys, just check quickly before changing clothes, until the early morning they started using noisy power tools out there a few inches from my head. I don't recommend this room for this reason though it seems this was the only lifeboat they worked on all cruise, so it might be fine another time. No drawers except nightstand and under bed. Lots of hanging space. Small bathtub and the water never did that nasty weird smell so common on cruises. FOUR USB ports. Wow! Read Less

This cabin is almost dead center on the rear of the ship. Good size room and the balcony was large. However, it was not shaded. This was our first time with a rear cabin and we thought the motion of the ship was a little more noticeable. Noise from the engines was not bad, although we carry a white noise machine so that probably helped at night. Read Less
