Failure to complete the planned route and failure to provide compensation for this. The ship did not dock in Bisby due to "weather conditions" even though other cruise lines' ships did dock. Instead of changing the route or giving compensation to the passengers, the company just wasted another day on the open sea. This route is really not worth it and a waste of time.
The food in the restaurant ...
The restaurant staff very professional and well trained. Out cabine room was superficial clean every day lots of dust and the bedsheets not changed for the entire week. The excursion staff lack of knowledge and very rude not happy to offer any excursions in English unless is just downtown were we can go by ourselves. We we looking forward to have a nice hiking and engage with nature but NOT ...
Terrible Food, Entertainment, Activities, Staff.
The food was the worst we have ever experienced on a cruise. Poor selections, seemed like the same food was being recycled every night. Lots of bread and pastas. No steak, Lobster or regional dishes. After dinner in the dining room we would go up to the buffet because we were still hungry. Usually took food back to room because the ...
This was supposed to be an incredible trip - two sisters exploring 5 exotic Baltic Sea ports. Only it turned out to be 2 Baltic Sea ports, a lot of excuses and non compensation for our ruined vacation.
Let me start with the fact that my sister and I booked the 9 day Baltic Sea cruise to see Berlin, Stockholm, Helsinki, Tallin and St. Petersburg in Sept of 2018. Our trip started with the ...
This was our third cruise with Norwegian Cruise Lines, and will be our last. We booked the cruise especially because of the itinerary: Copenhagen, Warnemunder, Tallin, St Petersburg, Helsinki and Stockholm. On boarding we were told the first port was cancelled and we would be sailing to Tallin. The ship then remained moored in Stockholm and sailed a day late. Arriving at Tallin, we took our ...
This cruise any easy choice due to three wonderful previously with NCL (but shown on documents as 'New Guests?) and a 'once in a lifetime' opportunity to visit the Baltic region despite the cruise cost and airfare from Australia. However, if it had been our first, would certainly be our last as worst ever of many others. Only advised on check-in that would not be docking at Warnemunde rendering ...
This was a special cruise for us as it was our first cruise and we were looking forward to sailing at night so that we could spend each day exploring a new country. In fact we only stopped at 2 of the 5 ports. We had no information prior to joining in Copenhagen that we would be there for 2 days (we would have arranged to arrive on the ship later and conduct a tour of Copenhagen), although those ...
Norwegian Cruise Lines Breakaway Baltic Cruise Sept-Oct 2018:
It may be Norwegian Cruise Lines but it wasn't a Norwegian sea captain!
THE TRIP
First they changed the itinerary 2 days before departure and we had to travel to a different city for embarkation. The announced $300 reimbursement per person is forthcoming from the "home office" once we submit all the paperwork. It cost us ...
I was on the repositioning cruise from Copenhagen to Genoa. Somewhere off the coast of Portugal I slipped and broke my leg. Purely an accident. The problem came, though, when the Dr. insisted it was unnecessary to do an x-ray and said my ankle was sprained. I said it was more than that. He said it wasn't and sent me to my cabin.
I had to step up on my leg to get into the bathroom. I ...
I've been on 5 NCL cruises prior which have all been great but this one has by far been the worst cruise experience I have ever encountered. My main issues are with the guest services and shore excursion staff.
The blond woman in charge of guest services was incredibly rude and disrespectful. When we got on board, I had noticed that it did not indicate 3UDP on our key card so we proceeded to ...
