A basic cruise that went just as expected. This is not the largest or fanciest cruise but it is well maintained. The itinerary is what you can expect from a four night cruise.
We ate at the Italian and chops specialty restaurants and the service in those was great as was the food. It was very pricy in there though and they do try to sell you a picture in those restaurants.
The buffet was ...
The experience was memorable because of the world class customer service. The dining room staff were very diligent. The room service staff were excellent.
The common areas were well taken care of. All staff members were very responsive and went over the call of duty to help make client comfortable.
The pre cruise experience was great. I was kept informed of potential client board ...
Cruise: Voyager of the Seas 2/19/24 5-days from Galveston to Costa Maya and Cozumel.
Who: My DH, DD, DD's best friend who we invited along to keep her company, DD's best friend's parents who decided to come too, and of course me.
For my family this was our first cruise, for DD's best friend I think that was her third, for the other parents they cruise once or twice a year. ...
This was my first cruise since the COVID-19 pandemic, and I can surely say that Royal Caribbean has not only maintained its excellent service, but it has improved remarkably. I travelled with my siblings, cousins, and grandfather, the youngest in the party being 13 and the oldest, 80. We all left satisfied with our trip and are looking forward to book again with Royal soon.
The embarkation ...
I selected this cruise because it was out of Galveston and the dates lined up with what I wanted. I put blind trust into the hope I would enjoy the experience. I find that all reviews have to be sorted through to understand what to trust or not trust. Any vendor, ship, resort, product or whatever I am interested in has reviews written by very negative people or people planted to write reviews to ...
I chose because of Galveston port, and excellent sale price. Very good food and service, will go again. The room was awesome. Service was excellent. Loved the adult only pool area. Name that Tune was hysterical. Dancing under the stars was way more fun than I expected. I got the beverage package ahead of leaving and got a great deal on that. Definitely got my money's worth. The internet was ...
We just returned from seven-day Caribbean cruise on Royal Caribbean's Voyager of the Seas. My wife and I (ages 65) took my daughter, her husband and our three grandsons -- ages 14, 12 and 10 on this cruise that left from New Orleans on March 31, 2012.
We chose this cruise because we could drive to New Orleans rather than fly seven people to New Orleans. We had three staterooms -- two balcony ...
We had fourteen members of our family going on this cruise, we all live in the northern part of Mississippi so we drove to New Orleans on the morning of embarkation. We arrived at the port around 11:30, checked in and all on board by 12:30. Very smooth embarkation. Good Job Royal Carribean!!
My family had 2 cabins (7294 and 7295), one balcony and one inside room overlooking the promenade. The ...
We arrived at the port early, around 11AM, having checked with the cruise line prior that it would be okay to drop off our suitcases so we could roam around Riverwalk prior to our cruise. Well, we were hustled through and before you knew it we were in line for the security check point. Reading that you couldn't board until 1, I didn't want to sit there for 2 hours waiting. The man assured me that ...
We just returned from a 7 night cruise that left out of New Orleans on St. Patrick's day. First and foremost, New Orleans is an amazing port to leave and return to! There is so much to do in the city and so many places to visit! I highly recommend the excursion offered at the end of the cruise. It is a city tour of New Orleans and very much worth the money to do! Actually, it is cheaper than ...
