Booked on a cruise and then they sold the ship. This one was one of four offered. Even in a Grand, Suite, items like a 15cent biro and note paper have gone; also chocolate on the pillow at night. 95% of guests on board were Australian, but the food is still based on American tastes. In the dining room ,the quality overall has dropped. RCI appear to have turned their Chefs into ...

I Love the Voyager but pricing itself out of the market

I have been on Voyager before and I really do like the big ships. The ports of call are not very exciting, but if you have not been there before they are worth a look. Noumea - not sure why ships still dock here Lautoka - not very exciting, but I did not go on a tour, I just wondered around the city for about an hour. Isle of Pines - very pretty little island with beautiful beaches, ...

We have been on the Voyager multiple times and love the ship and amenities. Sadly it seemed as if she has gone down in service. No lobster night was an unpleasant surprise. We only ate in the dining room once as the food was not any better than the Windjammer and the Windjammer took half the time and we didn't have to make a reservation, we were on My Time dinning which turned out to be not so ...

This was our first time on Royal Caribbean and, so far, we are not impressed - with one exception: embarkation. We arrived at the passenger terminal fairly early as our flight arrived in Sydney at 8 AM and we really had nothing else to do. We thought we would have to wait until our deck's call time, which was 2 PM I believe, to get on the ship, however they just started letting pretty much ...

Our first cruise. We went in with a very very open mind. read a stack of reviews prior [glad I did]. We kicked off from Sydney and the first 3 days the weather was bad. well, bad enough to CLOSE all the pools. All decks were open, but nothing was happening on them. It was to windy to sit there and believe you were on a dream cruise. So, back inside for someone INDOORS to do. NOTHING !!!.....They ...

Staff were amazing, food was fresh and plentiful. We had a balcony stateroom on level 6. First two days, no hot water, so had to have barely lukewarm showers. Bathroom constantly smelled of urine, even after being scrubbed out by attendant. Not sure why this was, no, we didn't pee on the floor. Carpets in hallways smelled musty, mouldy and damp. Every day they had blowers on the floor to try to ...

I hate to give negative feedback and I have been on 19 cruises with RCCL and on Voyager of the Seas several times, including 7wks on board Voyager in 2012 on her maiden voyage to Australia. Needless to say, I am a big fan of RCCL but felt my latest experience warranted my thoughts I was on board Voyager again recently for 12 nights to the South Pacific and it appeared to me that RCCL have ...

Voyager of the seas, 21st Feb 2017 Average at best, this was the largest ship we have been on and will now go back to smaller ships. Even though the ship is larger than Radiance/Solstice/Carnival the layout seams cramped in places and not as well set out. The Windjammer Buffet is the biggest issue, not enough seats for the amount of passenger's, the other ships we have been on have an extra ...

This was our 4th cruise on the Voyager over the past 2 years. Unlike the previous cruises, we didn’t have the same fantastic experience we had before but we still had a good time. Mainly we found both the food and service (stateroom steward and MDR waiter) standards had fallen. This was the 1st cruise for us that Royal Caribbean included tips in the total cruise price. We couldn’t help but ...

Overall the cruise was great . The ship is well designed and the staff are wonderful . As an Elite member of Princess , maybe it's me , but I got the feeling that Royal were catering for a younger demographic than myself . Belly flop completions and sexy man comps are a bit over the top for me . In saying that , the food was good ( except the coffee ) the layout of the windjammer is great and ...
