First Cruise Wrong Ship

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Voyager of the Seas

This was my first cruise and really vacation. This celebrated a honeymoon ruined by Covid closure and two Anniversaries. With kids grown I really had some high expectations. Embarkation wasnt bad at all. We chose an inside cabin as we didnt plan to be inside. It was very dated. Cabinet doors barley closed and were de-laminating, trim hanging. Rock hard bed. Cabin Steward was tipped nicely in ...

I was sent an email from RC after my cruise on Voyager of the Seas. One of the first sentences said we hope your vacation was unforgettable. That was guaranteed for me. Our party had 10 suites combined between us. At the suite check in my uncle and aunt were turned away because my uncle's passport was expired. He got a copy of his birth certificate, but it was from the hospital and not the ...

Horrible Vacation

Ship was outdated. Office/administrative staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. (Service staff was amazing). Everything was overpriced. Restaurant food was disgusting. We were both overcharged for drinks and purchases and the cruise line would not correct. Boat was over crowded. No room at pool or other facilities so we had to spend a lot of time in our tiny cabin. Walls extremely thin and ...

For years friends have said I should take a cruise. You will love it. The food is awesome. There's lots to do. Well they were all wrong. Went with some friends that have been on 25+ cruises. The food was gross. I lost 10 pounds that week. We had a suite and it was nice but not what I expected for what I paid. Have had much better rooms at a motel 6. The maid was awesome and she did a ...

This was my first cruise, and it certainly is my last with Royal Caribbean. Never again!!! 1. They screwed up our pre-registration for 6pm dining table for 2. Instead they had us listed as a group table. We said no, we had registered for table for 2. So then every evening we had to wait til 6:20 to take a "no show" table. So we were treated as a walkin, never the same table, never the same ...

We chose RC due to favorable cruises in the past and we love the Southern Caribbean. We left out of San Juan on 12/23. There was a traffic jam with standstill traffic trying to get to the port. Some people got out of cars to walk the 1/2 mile to the ship. RC and Norwegian boarding at the same time on a small service road that it not made for cruise line traffic. RC embarkment once at the port was ...

After having cruised Princess Cruises 11 times since 2004, my wife and I decided to try Royal Caribbean and take our 3 children, their spouses, and our 9 grandchildren on a Spring Break 2011 cruise out of Galveston, TX. That meant we booked all 17 of us on Voyager of the Seas. Our impressions of RC and Voyager of the Seas by the end of the 7-day cruise were very poor. Our advice to others is to ...

No Christmas In This Cruise

I've been fortunate to enjoy many fine traveling experiences in my lifetime, but my experience aboard the Royal Caribbean Voyager of the Seas during this past Christmas is not among them. I will never cruise again on ANY ship; I do not have any animosity toward Royal Caribbean; I do not want to be contacted by anyone affiliated with RC to compensate or apologize to me; I simply wish to warn others ...

Unfortunately, our vacation on the "Voyager of the Seas" ship did not go very well. Here is the sequence of events that happened to my wife Teri and me on the ship: Boarded ship on 4/12/2009 - Waited in a standing line for over 6 hours to board the ship. They stated the delay was due to a customs issue. On 4/13/2009 at 4:30 pm we went to happy hour by the pool on the 5th level. At 7:00 pm the ...

This was such a disappointment. We heard so much about RCL Voyager of the Seas that we had to try her....never again. The food was not up to par, the entertainment was fair but not impressed at all. At certain times during the day, there was no food available except if you wanted to PAY for it....Johnny Rockets was a huge disappointment. We were forced to eat there since nothing else was opened. ...
