Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Voyager of the Seas

We chose this participar cruise because of the low price, proximity to home, and where in ended (in PR). This would allow us to spend a few extra days on the island. We arrive promptly at a check in time at 10:30 AM. although the check in process was a breeze because we had prefilled all our documentation online, the onboarding process was slow. No one was allowed to board regardless of your ...

Voyager Review September 18-25, 2022 - NewEngland/Canada PRE-CRUISE This would be our first New England/Canada cruise. We booked about 2 months out with a great price on an inside cabin 8441. Although we cruise frequently with various cruiselines, this was only our 2nd Royal Caribbean cruise, the last being 20 years ago. This was prior to recent changes, so we were still required to have ...

Let's start out by saying how nice it was to drive to the port rather than dealing with flight plans. We arrived at Cape Liberty at 4:30pm and we went right through the arrival lines. We were in our cabin on deck 8 in record time. We joked that we were probably in our cabin before our "ride to the port" was back on the Turnpike. They have the system down and move you right through. A great way to ...

This is going to be a LONG review, and the reason is that we got so much from the Cruise Critic Member Reviews that we really want to share everything about the cruise that may be of interest to you. BAYONNE: If you're going to park your car for the week - get in the right hand lane. The left TWO lanes are for dropping luggage and passengers. Stay right and you'll be directed into the parking ...

This was our first cruise, so I don't have anything to compare to, but this ship is really fabulous. The artwork is astounding. It's integrated into the entire ship. Even the staterooms have limited edition signed and numbered prints! We enjoyed walking around and exploring all the various public areas. As some have stated, you take your chances with the Canadian weather, but I think we lucked ...

Introduction/Who we are: I must begin our review by thanking all the reviewers who came before us. Your suggestions really helped us!! After reading all the reviews, we felt very much at home once on the ship! You should know that all of our comments and suggestions are just that—suggestions—the following is our opinion based upon our individual experience aboard the ship and clearly this will ...

I was the instructor for quilting on this cruise. My husband and daughter accompanied me. We had 20 quilters in our group plus us. I can't say enough good things about RCCL and this ship. Embarkation (even though ship was 2 hours late getting in) was easy and quick. Terminal was air conditioned and CLEAN. Parking not a problem. They had complementary snacks and a band for your wait to board. ...

The 5-day sailing on the Voyager of the Seas from Bayonne, NJ, to St. John and Halifax was very enjoyable. The weather was chilly and extremely windy throughout the cruise (even in July), so this is not the right destination for someone who really looks forward to lounging around by the pool and wearing light summer clothing. I travelled with my husband and this was our 3rd cruise. We combined a ...

Port Liberty in New Jersey is a sprawling former military port that has plenty of parking. Arrival, which is spread out over many hours, is convenient, but the traffic jam at departure, for both passenger vehicles and limos, can be frustrating. Something should be done to expand the area used as a loading zone. We arrived about three hours before departure, and check-in was a breeze. Sandwiches ...

I am going to start off by saying this was the most pleasant cruise that I have had as far as how the cruise began and ended. Embarkation Day: This was amazing. I have read reviews and been told that this new port was a nightmare. I found this to be totally the opposite. We arrived at the pier at 4:00pm and were allowed to board right away. We went to the Suite and Crown and Anchor check in desk ...
