Decided to take this cruise out of Boston to Maine/Canada. Have taken this cruise on other ships with Royal in the past. Picked this cruise as when we booked, you still had to take Covid test before going on. Lucky me, they stopped the requirement on October 1, so no tests before cruise. So I got Covid even though I tried to be careful. Very few people wore masks, by end of cruise, several people ...

This was our first cruise post-covid and while we were very happy to be out in the world, our time aboard was nothing special. The staff were marvelous, very friendly and helpful. They were quick to fix or clean up. But most of the crew seemed to be training and it showed. So many dishes were coming out dirty that we had to check glasses before we poured anything. The line to enter the terminal was fairly long but ...

The Voyager of the Seas is still a beautiful ship and has aged well. The new light blue hull paint really makes her stand out. The Arctic Circle cruise was the result of multiple Lift & Shifts in 2020 and 2021. Excited to be on this cruise we were looking forward to the ports and being on the Voyager as this ship was our first transatlantic many years ago, We were on the previous week ...

Cape Liberty (Bayonne NJ) is a new port for cruise lines and upon arrival we were welcomed by 1.5 hours of traffic backed up by cars, vans, taxis, and limos picking up guests from the previous cruise (it was 2pm - SIX hours after the previous cruise had arrived). My sixth RCCL (I am now a Diamond member) cruise and having just gotten back from sister ship Adventure of the Seas in February, I was ...
