Check in and disembarcation were great, totally hassle free, very efficient staff and most friendly. The strengths of Voyager is most definately the staff. They work so hard and are eager to please and we were so grateful for all that they did for us. We have cruised with RCI before and did notice a general cut back in standards of food. I remember a much wider choice of food in the Windjammer but this time found it very "samey". Breakfast time was a bun fight and so we ate in the MDR and there the breakfasts were superb. No chocolates on the pillow and no shower gel but the towel animals were appreciated. The main gripe was the extortionate price of wine and the bottled water at $3.85 plus 25%!!! We noticed that an awful lot of people were not drinking which included us and our on board spend was the lowest of any cruise!! I wanted to press a skirt but was told that I would have to use cabin service as no laundry was available. At $2.50 I decided to leave the skirt creased. Shows? The Broadway show was awful as not many songs were recognisable. Tenors Un Limited a three opera singers were magnificent - they were such fun. Apart from that not much to get excited about. A good cruise but not one that I would want to repeat. Read Less

We were met at the Stockholm airport and were pleasantly surprised to see that we were going to have a 3 hr tour of the city. The buses throughout our entire cruise were comfortable well equipped coaches. When we arrived at the ship we went immediately to our stateroom. I think by doing the tour of the city we missed the mass embarkation. Most cruises we have had to wait several hrs while they redid the cabins. This was perfect! When I saw the walk-in closet I couldn't believe the space. One could easily do a world cruise and maybe still not use all the drawer space. My only complaint about the bathroom was the lighting for putting on makeup. The way the lighting is set made many shadows and I really never knew what I looked like. :) I won't say I was disappointed in the food...but being a "foodie" we thought it could have been better. Maybe not so "way out there". Sometimes mine was warm, not hot. They were wonderful about providing anything you might want providing you ordered it the night before. I had escargot several time...the best ever! Everyone of the crew and staff were friendly, helpful and we almost felt they were family. Our cabin steward did an outstanding job. The excursions were handled in an orderly manner. I have been on many ships where the lining up for excursions was mass chaos! They were explicit regarding time of arrival to theater...can't see how it could have been done better. All our in-city guides were informative and spoke English very well. All in all this was one of our best cruises! I have to add one more thing that touched our hearts almost bringing tears to our eyes: Our tour to Berlin was a gruelling 12 1/2 hrs. An accident on the Autobahn held us up 1 1/2 in traffic. When we arrived at the pier there was a red carpet from bus to gangway. The carpet was lined on both sides with crew & staff in dress uniforms cheering & clapping to music for US! What a welcome! They actually felt our pain :) and took it all away. Read Less

We arrived at the cruise terminal in Galveston by car at the designated time for boarding to begin. Traffic was barely crawling into the terminal area. It turned out that the Voyager of the Seas had been delayed several hours by fog, so when we arrived at 1:00, passengers from the last cruise were still disembarking. After 2+ hours in line, we were on board and our cabins were ready. There were 5 of us traveling together, my wife and I were on our first Royal Caribbean cruise, we have cruised 3 times on NCL, and our grown daughter and her 2 friends were on their first cruises. Our cabin was a Promenade cabin. It was very comfortable, quiet and clean. Our cabin attendant did an outstanding job. Daughter and friends had a regular inside cabin which was a little crowded, satisfactory. The ship is beautiful, spacious, and clean. There is always something to do and space is always available. The ship has a lot of very talented musicians, in addition to the entertainers who perform in the theater. Cruise director and his staff were by far the best we have ever encountered and they were not driven to making announcements every 10 minutes. The food was available in several venues and was always good, if not excellent. Service was always excellent and friendly. One feature we enjoyed especially was the Solarium, a partially covered area aft of the main pool area on Deck11. The Solarium included a pool and 2 large jacuzzi tubs, as well as a bar and plenty of seating along the sides and around the pool. The Solarium is an adults only area, although on this cruise there were almost no children. The ship stopped in 4 ports, King's Wharf, Bermuda, Punta Delgada, Azores, Cobh, Ireland, and Cherborg, France, with the final destination being Southampton, UK. We made a big mistake in not booking excursions in advance. It was very difficult booking any onboard as there were so few left to choose from. We did go ashore in each port and enjoyed our visit in each place. Cherborg turned out to be our favorite as well as a very pleasant surprise.Disembarkation was very quick and easy as we took the express, carry your own luggage off the ship option. For all of us this was a very good, very enjoyable cruise. We were impressed with the ship and with Royal Caribbean. Read Less
