Two lower beds convertible to 1 queen-size bed, bathtub & shower. All DD-category staterooms have a partial sea view. All HH-category staterooms have fully obstructed views. G and H cabins may have portholes instead of windows.
We weren't in the cabin much except to rest and sleep. I will admit that the bathtub is not designed for someone 6'2" with long legs. But that's my problem, not the ship's. Read entire member review >>
Ticked in uner the tender mounts the Lower promenade offers deacks on both sides for these cabins and some chairs to sit with a view while not paying for a verandah grest idea if the crew don't tear it all up and pour water over your spaces. The engine noise got louder as the numbers got higher so avoid cabins 3372-3384 for engine noise and vibraiton Read entire member review >>
Traveled alone, so perfect. Plenty of storage and hooks. View of sea restricted by walking promenade directly outside and concerns around privacy when room lights were on.
Small water leak from air conditioning unit which took them two days to respond, but sent chocolates as an apology. Read entire member review >>
We found the cabin appointment better than most hotels we've stayed in. The mattresses were really comfortable and we had seven excellent nights sleep. Our two cabin stewards, Sarji and Boy, made our stay very enjoyable and it was always a surprise to find a different towel display in our cabin each night. Read entire member review >>
Cabin was quite small, though it was an wheelchair accessible room. The only way was with two separate beds otherwise it was very difficult to get to the bed. The bathroom was very comfortable. The door to the bathroom opened 180°. Getting into and out of the cabin was a problem as the door to the cabin has to be held open, if someone holds the door there it is difficult to manoeuvre the chair, so even with an electric wheelchair it was quit difficult. The closet space was generous with tons of hangers and the hooks on the bathroom door were numerous Read entire member review >>
Cabin was fine, just what we expected. Everything worked and the air conditioning controls were fine. We have almost 500 days on Holland America, and this was a typical outside cabin. We paid for an outside guarantee and were upgraded to this. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was Lower Prommenade which was a great spot to go out on the deck and take a lounger to read or walk around the deck for excercise. The cabin had everything we need to make us comfortable - a massive amount of storage and suit cases fitted under the bed. She is looking a tad tired and after the dry dock at present am sure she will come out looking a millon dollars. Read entire member review >>
Avaiable for 4 people; plenty of closet space; actual bathtub and great towels/robes, bed set-up odd but worked; big window (leave a stuffed animal in window so you can find it at pots) Read entire member review >>

It therefore stands to reason that they will have a favorite cruise line or port of call -- in other words, they are "fans" and will sometimes take offense when a brand new member has arrived on the scene to bash a cruise line.
