"Because of the Guest Services Staff , I can only give an overall rating of 4 instead of the 5 that I would have preferred to give.We called guest services twice from the room and got the run around some more before finally being referred to the housekeeping staff...."Read More

1-10 of 34 Royal Caribbean Vision of the Seas Cruise Reviews for Romantic to Canada & New England
Overall we enjoyed our trip. The housekeeping staff were wonderful, as were the staff members in the Windjammer and Main Dining Room on Deck 4. I also thought that the shore excursions were well organized. And the tour guides were very knowledgeable.
However, we had a number of problems with the Guest Services staff. We needed to borrow a wheelchair and the member at the desk flat out refused, ...
I chose this cruise because I've never been to New England before. Unfortunately, because of the hurricane, our itinerary was changed to the Bahamas. I'm a warm weather person so I was not angry with this. Also, we only had some 970 passengers on board because many people either could not change at the last minute or did not want to go to the islands..
The passengers really made this cruise. We ...
The crew is fantastic as always, especially the concierge Sukriti Rai, Sue. She is super nice and will help you with any concerns. I have always had a good experience with the crew. The itinerary was nice seeing New England. Used the hop on hop off bus in Boston, while good, it was a long trip back to ship of about 2 or more hours, so know that. You can use Uber most everywhere if you don't ...
Vision of the Seas
Considered these days a “small” ship of about 2,400 passengers, overall I liked Vision of the Seas and my 12 day Canada/New England cruise
Cabin
I was on Deck 2 inside cabin. No complaints. My cabin steward was awesome. TV sucked. They kept repeating the same programs. I’m not a night owl and wanted to watch TV and read my Connect newsletter before going to sleep. ...
After 5 days in Quebec, boarded the Vision of the Seas for the 1st leg of our back to back to Galveston. I am only going to review the ship.
Embarkation was a breeze at 12:30 pm. No line, speedy check in, on ship in minutes, cabin available.
MJ, in Concierge, is wonderful. Always pleasant and helpful. Due to the number of D+ and Pinnacle, a portion of the Viking Crown lounge was blocked ...
Background information
This was our 19th cruise and 4th on Royal Caribbean (we last cruised with RCI in 2005). We had a fall foliage cruise on our bucket list and this 12-night itinerary seemed to suit our requirements. We booked the cruise in July 2016, after receiving some good information on promotions from RCI. We had cruised on a sister ship to the Vision, the Grandeur of the Seas, in ...
This was our first cruise with Royal Caribbean. We chose this cruise because of the 12 day itinerary, with ports in Canada and New England, in hopes of seeing beautiful fall foliage. RCCL didn't disappoint but "mother nature" didn't cooperate with the weather in Canada or with the fall foliage. In some ports the foliage was done and in some it hadn't started. The fall colors in Bar Harbor, ME ...
I choose this cruise for the potential of seeing great fall foliage colors. October 1 was a little early for the fall foliage this year. The October 11 cruise will be much better as the last couple days the leaves started to change color.
The embarkation and disembarkation went very smoothly. I was on board within 45 minutes of my arrival at the pier. On disembarkation, the luggage was laid ...
The food in the windjammer was vile . The my time restaurant , the food was either bland, or a salt lick. The entertainment , with the exception of a group called Rookie, was boring. The internet service was spotty and slow. They tried to upsell from the moment you got on the ship, to the moment you got off. The only news on the TV is CNN, why isn't FOX available? On a so called flag night, where ...
We choose this particular cruise because we were hoping to see the vibrant colors on the trees on the ports we were to visit. Unfortunately we may have been a week or ten days too early. One never knows. We picked the Vision of the Seas because we had the experience of sailing on her during a 12 day British Isle cruise. It is a comfortable ship, just the right size.
Before the cruise we ...
