We were part of the Bear Cruise group aboard. Loved the F&B concepts on the ship (except for the experimental kitchen… the food was good but too long for a series of appetizer… 2 hours… had to grab a pizza right after).
Lívia was our housekeeper for the stay. Just excellent. She found our missing piece of luggage at the beginning of the cruise which set the tone service wise on her part. The ...
The overall experience was very good. There were 2 full days at sea and 2 days at ports (Bimini and Puerta Plata). The port day at Bimini was a much better experience than at Puerta Plata because the beach venue seemed more organic whereas the Puerta Plata experience was engineered to look very touristy. Highly recommend the waterfall excursion and the snorkeling with sharks excursion. While at ...
I genuinely loved the food and entertainment, but nothing will get me back on this cruise line because of how terrible the service and logistical operations were, never mind how confusing the boat design was.
Examples:
1. There was a hair in our room service and besides apologizing, they offered nothing.
2. There was no logistical support for excursions. It’s very much find your own way ...
Overall it was a great cruise and great experience. Food was exceptional, best I've had on any major cruise line. Cabin was great too. With the $300 bar credit and $600 cabin credit it was an exceptional value. We didn't pay for drinks or upgraded wifi and had plenty of Sailor Loot to spend on board. As for criticisms, trying to get a drink at any of the bars was like pulling teeth at times. ...
This cruise was everything I dreamed a cruise should be for a honeymoon. The atmosphere was luxurious, relaxing and also had a party atmosphere. Everything we wanted in a vacation. A place to dance the night away to music we enjoy. Amazing food options all over the ship. Fun casino experience. Amazing shows and their Scarlett night made the last sea day a wonderful experience. The furniture ...
The biggest draws for us when we booked this cruise were that there would be no one under 18 and there were no buffets. Don't get me wrong, we loved cruising with our kids, but they're grown now and we don't feel like we should have to deal with other people's kids on vacation. Since we lived on the east coast at the time we were more than happy to book a cruise out of Miami, but we booked pretty ...
This was my first ever cruise and from start to finish virgin voyages is the best cruise line ever! I will definitely be returning on future cruises. The food is delicious and staff is efficient and always happy to see you. The ports were amazing and very easy to get on and off. I am also someone who struggles with motion sickness and I can gladly say I had no problems and it was all smooth ...
The check in process was horrible. I have cruised on many cruise lines and this was by far the worst check in experience. I had to change my flight to an earlier flight, so we arrived at the Pier around noon. I tried to change our check in time in the app about a week prior to the cruise but I couldn't change it. Our check in time was 4:00 p.m. We had to wait on the curb until approximately ...
My brother and I go on a yearly vacation and decided on cruising this year. I would highly recommend Virgin Voyages. Wonderful variety of food and activities on board. Plenty of time at sea to enjoy the ship. The best musicians on the ship were Ray and Jo, an Italian Brother/Sister duo. We went out of our way to find them while we enjoyed drinks multiple days. The Duel Reality show was an ...
What pointed us to virgin is No kids, if we are not bringing ours it’s nice to have just adults. The ship was beautiful, clean, staff were amazing. Our rockstar agent Jitu knocked it out of the park, along with house keeping. Karla at the casino was our favorite bartender!. The food was the best by far from any all inclusive we’ve been to. The added entertainment of WPT Texas holdem events ...
