Overall - the room was very small but this was expected. We had a french balcony, which was OK but since we spent so much daylight time on a bus we really didn't get to see any river views. Plus it was in the 40's so we couldn't really leave it open for the air. That said i would still get a french balcony as the "port hole" rooms are just above the waterline and really too low when docked. Room service was very good, fast and friendly folks. With three ships for a single cruise it was hard to get to know anyone on any single ship. Read Less

Smaller than expected. Good facilities within the cabin though can't imagine how it held two people (I was travelling alone). Clean.

Our French Balcony cabin on Deck 2 was wonderful! There is plenty of room for two people, the floor to ceiling windows (with a door that slides open – there is a rail to prevent falls since there is not a balcony) make the room feel even larger. The bathroom is completely tiled and the heated floors felt so good after a cold day. Bottled water is replaced daily, there is a self-service machine on each deck (which I prefer as opposed to having to track down a cabin steward like on ocean cruise ships), and the mini fridge is surprisingly cold. The beds are comfortable, topped with soft white duvets and plenty of pillows. Read Less

Middle deck. I'm not sure if it was superior or not. Location was excellent and convenient, right near the front desk. The space was smaller than expected but it had twin bed configuration and I definitely brought too much! Storage was minimal so suitcases under the bed was the norm. All in all the cabin had what one needed. Floor to ceiling windows were nice and allowed for a lovely view and fresh air when opened. Read Less

The French balcony stateroom was better than I expected. The king was broken down into twins for us which took a little bit more space, but there was still room to move around as much as needed. The bathroom was the perfect size and the shower was a lot bigger than I thought it would be. Everything was clean and housekeeping did a great job. Glad we didn't upgrade to the veranda - the sun deck was too nice to stay inside! Read Less
