Deluxe Stateroom (F) Cabin Reviews

Viking is Amazing : Cabin 111 and 113
I was surprised to find ourselves under water. The noise of the ship and sense of a damp cold was uncomfortable.

The rooms are small and extremely efficient in their layout. My husband and I are both large people and we were comfortable in the king size bed. We had plenty of room to walk around the bed and in front of it. The bathroom was sized for one of us to be comfortable in and surprisingly the shower unit felt huge! We book rooms on the lower level, so our window is flush with the river water level which is awesomely cool! We see boats sailing by our very noses if we happen to be in our room during the day. We packed for a three week trip through Germany before both cruises, as well as the cruise in a carry on airline approved luggage bag. We do laundry rather than haul a "closet" along on long trips. We had one of the lowest categories and therefore no veranda. But we still had a wide but narrow window up at eye level to brighten the room with natural light. there was a queen bed and a reasonable bathroom & shower. Enough room for storage & a long sideboard to place things used daily. Very adequate and as we didn't spend much time there, it was quite fine. Read Less

Our stateroom was perfect for us- plenty of storage space, comfortable bed, and efficient bathroom/shower. We basically only slept and showered so the space was adequate. Cleaning services were excellent.

The cabin had plenty of room for my husband and myself. We did not feel cramped at all. The bed was very comfortable. The toiletries were top notch.

Okay, but glass was filthy on the second boat. We could hear pipes knocking every time someone in our or the adjacent room turned on the water...day and night. Kept us up. Others complained about the same thing.
