We choose the cruise because of Wittenberg and the 500 Reformation anniversary. We enjoyed all ports and tours especially Prague and Berlin. Food on ship was fantastic especially the dinners. Our cruise director was fantastic. She went out of her way to make sure everything went smoothly even walking with us to show us where a restaurant was in Berlin.

We had gone on several ocean cruises, but not on Viking. We decided to try a river cruise. We loved it!!! Many of our friends recommended Viking and we can understand shy. Our pre and post ports and hotels were very nice and in good locations. We were able to access restaurants and shops easily before and after being on the river. Loved sailing past bucolic scenes in the Czech Republic and parts of Germany that used to be part of East Germany. Staff members were friendly, very personal in their own stories, funny and very attentive. Food and wine were excellent!
