The river cruise itself was good, except we could not use the upper deck. First because it rained a little, which we expected, but with the coming of all the low bridges and locks the upper deck was unavailable the majority of the time. Chose this cruise to explore Christmas Markets along the Seine. While the ship and staff were wonderful, the Christmas Market part was sorely lacking. Maybe it was too early in the season? The hotels in Paris and Zurich were very nice. No complaints with baggage handling or airport transfers.
Viking had a tour desk in both of the hotels, which was handy and useful for answering questions or concerns.

Love Viking - Cruise Director did a great job. The places we went to were very interesting and memorable. The dining experience was excellent every day.
Great organization in getting us to and from the ship. The coach that was not a Viking coach that we had was not in very good shape and the seats were very tight. The Viking coaches were much better.

We thoroughly enjoyed the itinerary. The staff was amazing and super friendly. Food was excellent although the portions tended to run small. For faster lunch and dinner service sit closer to the kitchen. The wait staff serves from the kitchen end first, then on towards the entrance.
