We were traveling with friends who found this itinerary. I've always wanted to see Normandy and Omaha Beach, so this was our perfect cruise. The ship's staff was extraordinary, especially the dining staff and bartenders. They made our trip very enjoyable. The food was exceptional, and the crew took excellent care of the passengers.

I wanted to visit Paris and have the opportunity to visit Normandy. It was also nice to see the stops in between. The shop was docked within view of of the Eiffel Tower which was very nice. We could walk there on our own. We wee given a tour of the area on the first day and that was very helpful for the day we came back and had time on our own.

We have enjoyed every Viking cruise. The quality is always excellent, accommodations and staff are great. Will continue to use Viking in the future. We usually skipped the evening entertainment because of the early morning tours.
