together with some friends we all decided to go on a Viking River Cruise. this was planned well in advance. this was a trip of a lifetime and based on Viking's reputation expectations were high. well nothing is ever perfect when traveling this trip did not escape glitches.

We chose this cruise for the itinerary but found the ports disappointing compared to our Prague to Paris cruise-City if Lights on Viking. The views on the Rhine cannot compare to the Main and the Moselle Rivers. Also the ports weren't nearly as interesting. The newer ships are nice but our room was very tight.
