The cabin was somewhat small. The bathroom was nice, BUT the shower, however, was just outstanding. Water was instantly hot & the water pressure was wonderful. We just wished we had a shower head like that in our home in Arizona! One day the cabin's air conditioning died. We notified the front desk, who said it would be fixed & left for an excursion. Upon our return, the A/C was not fixed & it was over 85 degrees in our cabin at 9 PM. Called the front desk again & they sent the ship's engineer who fixed the problem in about 15 minutes. The maid kept the cabin immaculately clean at all times. Read Less

We spent so little time in our cabin that it didn't really matter that we were at/below the water level. The cabin was clean and spacious enough for our needs. The plumbing was a bit noisy, but that may have been due to our location on the ship. The daily services of the cabin steward were appreciated, but it would have been nice to meet the person who attended to our cabin each day. We did look out our window on occasion and noted the movement of the river. We will probably book a cabin on an upper level for the next cruise. Read Less

Very comfortable cabin with enough closet and drawer space for all our clothes and personal items. Suite cases easily fit under the bed and out of the way. We really liked having two chairs in our cabin. We often sat on them (vs on the bed) to catch a little relaxation time after an excursion and before heading up to the lounge. The bathroom was OK - not too small, but it was compact. I didn't realize we would have a clothesline in the shower - I would have brought some clothes pins. That was an excellent unexpected feature.
