From start to finish another wonderful experience with Viking. I loved all the interesting nooks to sit & read. After being off ship on excursions, I enjoyed eating a nice lunch & then reading my afternoon away. The staff were all wonderful! The food was great. The ports were interesting and well-timed. Since it was off season, there were no crowds and guides had more time to show us things. I love Viking Ocean ships - spa, pools (all heated and 1 covered so you can swim even if cool outside), and incredible staff. I highly recommend. I chose this cruise as it was on sale. It was off season and I loved that. I thought there was a crowd as we toured but I learned that during the summer there were long lines. We went on a River cruise last year and it was perfect. The ocean cruise was great but it did not have the intimacy of the River cruise. The ship offered more - spa indoor pool and sauna several restaurants. It would depend on personal preference. To visit the greek isles and do it off season. All of the crew wore masks and were both knowledgeable and helpful thru out. The food was plentiful and varied making for wonderful meals.
