"The crew and ship were lovely, the food exquisite, and Bermuda as charming as ever.Even though we are both fully vaccinated, the Bermuda travel advisory mandated a negative precruise covid test no more than 4 days before the trip, proof of vaccination, a complicated Bermuda travel authorisation, and another negative test once we set foot on Bermudian soil...."Read More

1-10 of 20 Caribbean Viking Orion Caribbean Cruise Reviews
We retired in August and took our first cruise in March. We chose Viking because it's adults-only. As a retired teacher, that sounded fantastic! The food was amazing, the shows were fun, and the excursions were educational. The ship was gorgeous and we quickly found "our" spot to relax in the afternoons. We learned that we liked sea days as much as port days.
If you enjoy a younger ...
We chose this cruise because we could drive to Ft. Lauderdale to embark and disembark, without having to travel by air, especially over the Atlantic Ocean. The embarkation process was streamlined and quick and we were on the ship in minutes of checking-in. Our cabin, a PV-2 Penthouse Veranda, was spotless and tastefully decorated. Being on the port side of the ship, we Staff were remarkably ...
We have been long time fans of Norwegian having loved their entertainment as well as their fine dining restaurants. And in recent years they've been throwing in the drink packages which is awesome. So when we wanted to sail the Panama canal I assumed we would do Norwegian again. But then I started researching Viking...
We've decided we like balcony staterooms so when I added up what ...
We chose Viking because we don’t enjoy large ships with an overwhelming amount of people and activities. The Viking cruise had people closer to our age and the entertainment and programs were suited to our style. We loved the historical programs discussing the background of our ports of call. The food was ample with many selections but not so abundantly available all the time that you felt like ...
We originally chose this cruise for a couple of different things one we had wanted to see the key west. That was taken off of the calendar without us being compensated in anyway. Did not like that! The crew working on the boat were wonderful. The excursions were not very well planned. We enjoyed Costa Rica, The excursion in Jamaica was so much fun we so thoroughly enjoyed that. We were taken ...
No Kids, No Gambling that is a plus. Food was excellent. Usually you wait in a line for a hamburger or lunch sandwich but they took orders really nice All the food was so good. They have a pasta bar to die for
I had room suite which was very comfortable and great location and that included washing and ironing of my clothes. Wow what a great job they did.
One of the most enjoyable ...
This was my first time on Viking however my fourth cruise during COVID. The on-boarding day of was subpar as well as being locked in our room for 9 hours awaiting PCR results. They were totally disorganized compared to Norwegian. The staff was super nice and helpful from food, to bar service, to cleaning and maintenance. Median age for this trip was at least 65 so the entertainment was geared ...
food was over the top 5 star. make sure u take flora and fauna excursion when at colon, panama!
Staff was five star as well. very very friendly staff. i had been thru the canal back in 2010. just this time a partial (partial at gatun locks) plus we saw where they built the bigger canal for bigger cruise ships.
Where i did the full canal ten years ago. testing each day ...
We wanted to learn more, and experience going through the locks. And the bonus was all the wonderful ports we visited! Crew was phenomenal….I was so impressed. Food was delicious (AND plentiful). I visited the spa on 4 different occasions for 4 different services….it was wonderful as well. AND I thought reasonably priced. We enjoyed the thermal spa too….just needed to book a date and time. ...
This excellent educational trip was all that we expected from Viking and Then some. There were informational lectures not only on port excursions, but all about the panama canal politics and back room wheeling and dealing to allow the USA to build this engineering marvel. There were also pirates. The Viking cruise line took all the worry out of traveling during a pandemic by requiring daily ...
