Couldn’t Be Better
"Faisal, who always made himself available to us at World Cafe, found a wine I especially liked and always had it on hand the moment we arrived.I find the Scandinavian decor stunning, and all the attention to detail is impressive, like the life-sized birch tree backdrop behind the glass elevator wall, the birdsong in the public restrooms, the lovely chromed washstands at the entrances to World Cafe, and the snuggly blankets folded on the ends of all the lounges around the pools...."Read More

First time on a Viking cruise. We've been on others, but this experience was definitely notches above the others. Food was great, and their attention to customer service was exceptional. Our cabin was great. We felt like we were in a high end hotel. The staff was very attentive and made sure we we were well taken care of. They also do a great job coordinating the excursions. There are various ...

Excellent cruise but cruising culture not for us

Nice ship, new, intelligent design, great staff from top to bottom, great food, well organized. Uneven educational opportunity, some excellent, some less so. Excellent overall cruising experience. That said, cruising is a lifestyle and subculture which is either in your blood or not. In our case, not. This is a matter of personal preference - we will probably not pursue cruising further - but his ...

We were on the ship for 2 weeks and it flew by. The ship itself, all the options for dining, entertainment, luxurious accommodations, cruise amenities, included and extra excursions, outstanding crew & excellent service were amazing. We were blown away by all Viking had to offer. This was our first cruise and it was so fabulous, we booked another river cruise for 2026. We are now spoiled and ...

An Incredible Journey

Our cruise was amazing. Everything Viking does from how immaculate the ship and rooms are to the free excursions in every port are top notch. Because of the Mar's size and the much lower amount of passengers it can accompany we never felt crowded anywhere on the ship. There were so many places onboard inside and out to have quiet time to yourself. The ship's crew were all very polite and provided ...

My wife & I have wanted to do a repositioning cruise for some time, and have just returned from a wonderful Viking Ocean transatlantic voyage from Ft. Lauderdale to Barcelona March 2 ~ 16, with stops in St. Martin and Madeira. We used Viking Air throughout, and upgraded to Delta One on the long return flight. We stayed overnight the day before at the Embassy Suites 17th Street, Ft. ...

We have been sailing with Seabourn for years and the biggest reason we love them is that their luxury but relaxed and every time we come on board, we feel like we’re coming home due to the amazing staff and crew. The moment we walked on the Viking Mars, we felt the same way. From the fantastic Nordic minimalistic design to the fantastic way the staff and crew make you feel. It is never pomp and ...

We had sailed with Viking twice before, river cruises. Our room in the ship's stern afforded great views with a nice-sized balcony. Our room attendant, Danika, was wonderful to us. I cried when I said good-bye to her. I will say the positioning of bed on top of the closet's entrance, made things difficult when both of us were trying to retrieve clothes. We both found that food on river cruises ...

The main reasons for choosing this cruise was to sail the English Channel, North Sea, to visit Normandy, and to see the Rock of Gibraltar. Our stateroom was fantastic. Comfortable bed, plenty of room for a cruise ship, and a nice veranda with great views. The staff member looking after our room and needs was fantastic. She had a great personality. We met some nice people on the ship. The food was ...

This was our first Viking cruise. We had thought for a long time about a river cruise and had scheduled the Rhine for September, 2022. Unfortunately, the low water levels caused us to cancel and take a voucher we then used toward an ocean cruise, Trade Routes of the Middle Ages, Barcelona to Bergen. First of all, the crew was outstanding. From the first day, they greeted us by name, anticipated ...

We loved our 15 day cruise from Barcelona to Bergen! So many wonderful sites. Our tours in each city were excellent. It was AWESOME to have late night drinks while passing through the Strait of Gibraltar, seeing 2 continents at once! So cool to basically trace the trail from England to France during D-Day - & Normandy was every bit as moving as I imagined it would be. Bruges was a surprising ...
