We wanted to see South America for the first time. Viking was very responsive regarding how we needed to meet the Chilean and Argentina requirements for entry into their countries, and meet their Covid requirements. Viking established a travel insurance relationship with TripAssure that was inexpensive and comprehensive. Because of Covid, the Viking staff went over and above to make sure its ...
Having travelled with Viking Ocean many times, they continue to be our preferred cruise line, having experienced good and bad elsewhere. This cruise was one where you just had to make the best of the situation. Viking were not in control of the ports that did not appear to want us, necessitating itinerary changes, nor totally in charge of the handling staff in port building, and definitely not in ...
Embarkation, Disembarkation went smoothly, well organized. Greeting at the airport and the shuttle to the ship was fantastic! Greeters were there to guide us through the whole process and onto the bus. Staff on the ship were all friendly and courteous.
Coffee was terrible in the world cafe.
Steaks in the world cafe were mostly raw - It was difficult to get medium rare.
One never ...
All activities were very good, food and services were excellent. All restaurants were great. The swimming pool with seawater was special; my wife went swimming at 5 am every date, even in stormy weather.
The ship launderette to maintain our clothing cleaned and ironed.
The tea room was very nice, were all kind of teas were available served with scones and other delicacies. The on board ...
We chose this trip because of the itinerary and past experiences with Viking River Cruises. The fact that Jupiter was a new ship was also one that intrigued us. We had never done a transatlantic in a small ship, but the ride was just as smooth as one of the larger ships. The food was the best food we have had on any cruise. We ate at the specialty Italian restaurant as well as the Chef's Table, ...

We chose this cruise because it went to all the places we had always wanted to see in one trip and on a cruise line that is top rated. Excellent service, wonderful food, and great entertainment and the price was reasonable. What’s not to like. The communication was timely and full of useful information. Being a new boat all the facilities and equipment were in excellent condition. Even so there ...
Friends invited us to join them on this cruise. We had cruised before, but never on Viking. It was by far the best, but also the most expensive. There was value for the price. The cruise manager and the entire crew were superior. The destinations were great.
We made good use of the public spaces for playing games on sea days. The service was beyond expectations. The atrium concerts added to ...
Wanted to see all the cities that the cruise visited. Never been to any of them. It was an educational experience listening to historians on board and driving around to see the sights. We especially enjoyed the bridge lessons by an excellent bridge instructor. The music at different venues was entertaining. The food at all the restaurants was fine and the portions appropriate. The drinks at the bars ...
My wife and I were looking forward to the calm and restfulness of the sea days in addition to seeing some areas we had not previously visited. We had recently experienced the tragic death of our only Grandson and this was a much needed rest and distraction. Everything about the cruise, the ship, the crew, the accommodations, the weather and the ports were outstanding. We had the least expensive ...
