Although at the end of the active part of the pandemic Viking Star provided an excellent cruise experience. Daily PCR testing kept the management ahead of any problems. Several missed ports due to Covid. No refunds of port charges. Not much on board program offerings. Staff was excellent. Enjoyable, but not remarkable experience. After doing small luxury for years on Windstar, Viking was amazing. All the good things of a little ship but with all the fantastic amenities of a large luxury ship.
